« If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. »

« House was fantastic - immaculately clean and well-equipped. They had really thought about our arrival with the heating already on so it was lovely and warm. There was also a number of "welcome" items (box of cereal, milk, coffee teabags, biscuits and a lovely bottle of wine). Plenty of towels, Shower was excellent - easy to use, good pressure and lovely and hot. »

« La maison est très agréable bien équipée et confortable, au milieu des bois, près de la plage de Woodstown. Les hôtes vous accueillent avec du pain fait maison, du vin, le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner et les placards contiennent tous les produits de base. Cet endroit est idéal pour rayonner et visiter les alentours comme nous avons fait et se retrouver le soir au chaud et au calme. Le seul petit inconvénient pour les accros, est un petit débit pour l'Internet...Nous avons beaucoup aimé...

« This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided. »

« We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The...
