This location is a bit further but a winner - parking was free and easy, bike share (b-cycle) dock on property, right on bike/foot path to Lake Monona and downtown. « Checkin was good, the staff was fine. The room was good and clean, the shower was good. The hot tub and pool both were functioning. Everything was fine but it was almost 230 for 1 night. The hotel was dated, and nothing was new about it. the room was very average. I have stayed in nicer hotels for a lot less. I guess it is just how much Madison costs, but wow. This is WI not LA »
