« Gurung's Home has truly become my home away from home. I stay here - nowhere else! - whenever i'm in Kathmandu. The staff is the family, and they are so welcoming, and able to help me with my transportation issues. It is a little bit hard for the taxis to find the address, because Google Maps directs them to a pedestrian street. But about five minutes out of the way, and you can find it. The location is cool because the bustling city is right nearby, but the hotel is on a quiet side street....

« Very great stay at Arushi Boutique Hotel. The roof top was nice. We didn't use the pool (the water was cold, not super cold...). We used the small gym and both treadmill worked very well. The room was very confy and clean. The shower worked well. The breakfast was AWESOME. We ate one dinner there and it was very good. »

The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit.
E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight.
The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. And the garden… what a hidden oasis of peace in the heart of bustling Kathmandu! It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring the city.
On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable. The hospitality and kindness of the Nepalese people, especially at this hotel, have nothing to envy to European standards. I honestly think I will return here at the end of my trip in a week’s time.
