« Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. »

« Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year. »

« First time staying at hotel. First impressions good in general. Only complaint is the stairlifts. Trying to get my disabled partner to breakfast in the upstairs restaurant was virtually impossible. One stairlift had been left at top of stairs with no way to bring it down and other stairlift was out of order. Why can't the breakfast be served in the ground floor restaurant? Especially as its near the only elevator in the building? »

« Grande chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, wifi. Grand parking pas de problème pour trouver une place. Grand choix pour le petit-déjeuner. Si la chambre donne sur la route il peut y avoir un peu de bruit car passante à vitesse assez élevée. »

« Très agréable et calme, personnel avenant, pleins d'activités et de visites à moins de 1h30 de route : aussi bien les musées à Liverpool que les ballades dans Snowdonia... »

« It was too cold in this hotel, the heater started at 5 pm and stopped around 9 pm. And then from 6 am until 9 or 10 am, so it wasn't enough for this kind of room in a this kind of hotel with bad insullation, only a simple glass window. The maximum temperature was 14°C. I sleept with pullover !!! And particulary in the shower room with only 12 to 14 °C I will never be in this hotel. »

« The host greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly; assuring us that if we needed anything further to let her know. It was very well equipped: fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster, not forgetting a jug of fresh milk. Would definitely stay here again. »

« Rien d’incroyable (pour le prix …). Mais Chester est une ville aussi belle que chère … L’expérience peut être variable en fonction de la chambre (près de la route / voie ferrée) . Bonne literie mais pas très large … Petite chambre pour 3 . Bon petit déjeuner . Mais surtout très proche de la ville et c’est le réel atout de cet hôtel . Bien pour une nuit de passage 👍. »
