Needed a place to stay on our journey to Cape Town. Booked here and couldn't have been happier. Convenient location just off the N2 in quaint Storms River Village. Everyone qas super friendly and made us very welcome. Cosy room, quiet, and delicious breakfast. Storms River Village has lots of eating options. We went to Marilyn's where we enjoyed a scrumptious meal. All in all, a great one night stay!
The walls are so thin you can hear outside anything being said in the room. The village it is located in is not particularly attractive or rather it is boring. For going to Tsitsikama it is preferable to stay at some town on the waterfront even if it is a bit farther from the park. (This hotel is about 15 minutes by car from it)
This property offered great value. The room overlooked the garden area and was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for things to see and do in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of the Main Street where restaurants and a small store can be found and two hiking trails are nearby. The only downsides were a slightly too firm bed and a bit of road noise. Otherwise, a great stay.
We recently stayed at Storms River Guest Lodge and had a nice experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making sure all our needs were met. The location is perfect for those who enjoy local activities, with plenty of options for adventure nearby. The facilities are basic but do the job, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Overall, a great place to stay if youâre looking to explore the beautiful surroundings of Storms River.
Stay was sufficient and what we needed for one night for a family. Close to Tsitsikamma national park and very preferable location. Friendly and great service. Honesty bar worked well and everything was great.
Beds could have been longer đ and in the morning a bit noisy from the common area.
Pool had a friendly frog in it đž
Very nice place to stay . A few issues with my room which were sorted out. Lovely hosts and lovely breakfast each morning. Enjoyed relaxing in the garden after eventful days in Tsitsikamma
Maria and Pieter were amazing hosts in such a lovely space! The room was spacious and well kept. The morning breakfasts were excellent with good variety. And the location within the village was great for access to hiking paths, restaurants, and Tsitsikamma. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to spend time at Tsitsi!
Weâve been a bit spoiled with the lodgings on our trip and this one was certainly adequate, but didnât really stand out. Owners and staff were very friendly, rooms spacious and clean, nice grounds. Okay breakfast. Activities close to the hotel are what you come here for, Tsitsikamma, kayaking and the canopy tours. Can really recommend.
Lovely earm reception. We were late due to our flights, and left very early but they were pleasant and accommodating. Only downside, storms has nothing open after about 20h30. Even the fast food joint at the garage was closed. Take padkos or puchase something at the larger N2 City outside Jeffries if youre going to arrive late.
