« We traveled on Christmas Day with our daughter and grand children. It was such a treat to arrive to a warm house with Christmas decorations and tree in place. We were blessed with snow on Christmas evening and 8” of snow the day after. Claudia made sure we had a shovel and had someone salt down the sidewalk and stairs the next day. The added plus was all the toys in the upstairs closet and children gate for upstairs stairs. I would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside Fire...

« We had an excellent stay at this home. It was beautifully decorated, super clean, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the fire bit which would have been fun. A great home to spend Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. »

« Sarah was extremely responsive and accommodating during my friend’s and I’s stay. She never overstepped our boundaries and gave us our space to do our activities. Upon entrance, the house was found in pristine and extra clean conditions. Truly one of the easiest experiences I had with any Vrbo host! Highly recommend!! »

I probably would give 4.5 stars only because I couldn't figure out how to get the front walk lamp to light, and neither could the host. But overall, everything was great. « This property is beautiful and the host was very responsive. We were in town for a funeral so unfortunately wasnt able to enjoy the house as much as I would have liked to. The view is breathtaking, we saw deer, wild turkeys, swans and more. I would suggest kids 8 would be better suited. I had to chase my little around to ensure they weren't touching or playing with any of the decorations. Plenty of bathrooms and counter space. No cell reception but the Wi-Fi worked throughout the whole home....

In addition, the cottage borders a walking trail and had a view of the water . Close to Cold Spring Harbor train station . The hosts are responsive and thought. »
