« 1st, we had to climb (literally) 40 steps to get to the apartment (from the back enterance). We're almost 80 years old and it was quite difficult! Definitely not for anyone with even minor disabities. Parking was horrible! No parking on the street or you'll get a ticket at 4am, and we were told the town is VERY strict about it. « The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine. »

« We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was the perfect mix of privacy and convenience; peaceful and quiet, yet still close enough to easily access Southwest Harbor and the quieter side of the island. The harbor views were beautiful and made the setting feel really special. We also loved the additional cabin, which was updated so nicely and was a great extra space. It was a wonderful place to come back to after exploring the island, and we would definitely recommend it to others! »
