We had a good stay in beautiful Stonehaven. The flat was well equipped and close to the coastal walk and restaurants. The owner left a lot of nice welcome treats and was easy to communicate with, giving plenty of information on the area and places to eat.

Stonehaven is a lovely village right on the North Sea. The flat was perfectly situated to the town square and small local shopping and to a lovely Sea Walk. Lots of good restaurants and close to beautiful Dunotter Castle. Apartment is well appointed and lacks nothing for a stay.

Richard was a wealth of knowledge and so quick to respond to all of my messages. He gave us not only expert advice on Stonehaven but also of the area we were headed to next. The apartment was clean and super well stocked. He left cold beers in the fridge as well as an ample supply of coffee. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!.

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Everything in it we needed plus plus. Very clean and everything worked. Richard was very communicative and suggested things to do, places to eat etc etc. The only negative was that it was on a busy street and therefore very noisy during the day.

We had the best time! The flat was well appointed (SMEG appliances) and Richard and Julie left lovely treats for us. It’s quiet, very comfortable, and the location is stunning. You’ll hear the seagulls every morning and it’s an easy walk to the harbor. Stonehaven is unique. The people are welcoming and the restaurants are epic! Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful apartment in the town of Stonehaven. It’s in a great location to visit many places of interest nearby including Dunnottar Castle. The coast is beautiful and there are a number of good restaurants in walking distance. Richard and Julie are great hosts - absolutely everything is provided to make guests feel welcome. We would recommend it unreservedly

We have stayed at many and this was hands done the nicest, best stocked, best decorated, nicest hosts, and in a wonderful location. Everything was wonderful from the furnishings to the linens and the special touches and items found in the kitchen. The hosts have stocked the place with books, maps, and other items to find the area's attractions. The location is in a perfect location to visit this seaside town, it's attractions, and to day trip to places like Aberdeen.

First of all I would like to sincerely thank you for taking time out of your day to pick me up at airport. I don’t think that was part of your job as host, but once again. It was nice to meet you and talk. Also so kind of you to show me the important place I should need while there. As I told you the apartment was very comfortable and I love how you decorated it. I used the coffee machine and it wasn’t to hard to handle. I just walked to the Dunnottar forest and it was really beautiful. I met some lovely people there that helped me along and one actually walked with me and she had a dog who was enjoying herself too. Got a lot of good walk down by the harbor and was able to enjoy the crepes at cafe noir. Thanks for the suggestion. I found the bus station and was able to go to the castle too. Very windy but very impressive. Thank you for all your help with any question I had too. It was a pleasure to stay there. Scotland is fantastic.
