« Our stay at the Hancock Village Inn was spectacular! We rented the Inn for my daughter’s graduation from Williams College. The multitude of bedrooms and bathrooms meant our entire extended family could comfortably stay together. The fully (yes- fully!) stocked kitchen allowed us to cook for our large group easily. Working with the Tafe family was wonderful–they really do go above and beyond! John allowed me a tour the house when I was up visiting my daughter in advance of our stay–so kind!...

« We are still enjoying our stay, but I wanted to leave a review because we’ve had such a wonderful experience. The house is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mature greenery, and incredibly quiet. After spending so much time in a noisy city, this was exactly the escape we needed. We were able to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The property feels private and well cared for, and the natural surroundings make it even more special. This has been one of those places where you...

« Carl was very responsive and the house was clean, well kept, and had everything that was listed in working condition (which is not always the case!). We visited in October for a birthday weekend, which I mentioned in the booking, even walked into a Halloween themed Happy Birthday sign! Extremely thoughtful. The hot tub, grill, and fire pit were all very easy to use. Nice bathrooms, close to nearby experiences, and very secluded. Would definitely book again, highly recommend! »

« We had a great family getaway here! The hot tub was amazing and the views from the hot tub were perfect. What a beautiful location - quiet, peaceful and a fun space for kids to explore. We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well! Extremely quick responses from the host as well! Thanks for a good time, we are already thinking about coming back in the summer. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Oscar’s Pond. The host was exceptionally responsive and communicative throughout our visit. Since we were visiting during one of the hottest days of the week, he even offered to have someone come by and turn on the air conditioning units before our arrival, which was greatly appreciated. We encountered one minor issue during our stay, and he responded immediately with helpful solutions. « The house was very historic and charming and the property was gorgeous and had a stunning view. However the property didn't seem safe with the door being glass and not a sturdy lock. We also couldn't find a garbage can in any space except the bathroom downstairs. We moved that to the kitchen in order to throw out basic things like tissues and receipt papers. The AC downstairs was literally frozen and therefore didn't really cool the space. It was uncomfortable to be in that space and it...

« Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. Slow to return security deposit. I've...
