Timberline Lodge at Trappeur’s Crossing Resort & Spa is located just one and a half blocks from the base of Steamboat Ski Resort; there's even a paved walkway that takes you directly from the building to the gondola, and to dining, shopping, and nightlife all along the new base area promenade.
This complex has many wonderful amenities, including outdoor and indoor heated pools, multiple hot tubs, a sauna, a fitness facility, an outdoor fire ring, an outdoor kitchen area with grills, and a heated underground parking garage - so you don’t have to worry about cleaning the snow off your car. There's also a private shuttle that can take you back and forth from the base of the ski resort, to the grocery store, and to downtown Steamboat Springs for shopping and dining later in the evening. You can definitely get away without a rental car when staying in this location!
This three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo welcomes you into a living room with a large gas fireplace, a flatscreen TV, a DVD player, and a leather couch and chair. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal for family and friends, and the dining table expands to seat up to eight guests. There are also three barstools available. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a flatscreen TV, and an attached full bathroom with dual sinks. The second bedroom offers a queen bed while the third bedroom has twin bunks. There's also a washer/dryer in the condo and a separate ski storage locker at the entry to the building. It's a fantastic option for families who want all the conveniences and amenities of a resort property in an unbeatable location a short walk from the ski resort.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. It has a/c 😀
We stayed 5 nights. This was one of the only places to have an a/c unit, it was nice to come back to a cool home after a hot day of sight-seeing. The washer and dryer are nice too but they are the small stackable kind so plan on washing towels and clothes often.
*We were give many keys to the garage and front door which is good because we never knew which key would work and it took many tries with each one, so take them all with you. Also, not one key worked to get us inside the building from the pool area.
*When you first arrive don't go to the office, you have to drive a short way up the road to The Lodge office to locate the lockbox. Other than the initial confusion as to where we pick up the keys and having to take multiple keys with us, it was very comfortable and conveniently located to everything.

The unit is pretty good. Pros: good location, great pool / hot tub complex that is very convenient, good price. Cons: unit has some wear and tear (as expected), it's quite loud due to facing a busy intersection.

Outstanding Mountain Experience
The location, cleanliness and usability were perfect for our party of six. The kids loved the pool while the adults hung out in the hot tubs. The location was perfectly located to experience the local attractions and still have the beautiful mountain views.

Great for families
Brad was great with answering all the questions we had. The place was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tubes and pool were great for after a day of snowboarding. The shuttle was easy too. I would recommend some updates to the place, such as new flooring or updated carpet, and some of the furniture. Other than that, it was clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend!

Convenient and Comfortable
We loved this property for the convenience of getting to the slopes. The shuttle service that ran continuously from Trappeurs to the Transit Center was a huge perk. We came back to the condo for a lunch break every day rather than deal with the covid restrictions of on-mountain dining. We could be back in the condo in less than 10 minutes from the base of the mountain. It was also a very easy walk (1 block) to the village and nearby restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tubs and heated pool. We did not rent a car this year but the garage parking is nice too. Everything in the condo was as described and in good condition. Thanks for another fun week in Steamboat!

Really enjoyed !
Property was just as described, easy check in and very clean. The ski lockers were very helpful and the location was great for easy access to the slopes.
Sometimes the key cards didn’t work on the garage door, but the solution was just to use it on the entrance door that was right next to the parking garage door and then just push the button to open the garage door.
We had another drawback, but it had nothing to do with management or the property really. When a snow squall comes in and dumps inches of snow, the snow plows run all night. With lights, beeping and scraping. Ugh. Our rooms were on the first floor, so all the noise and lights might be better on upper floors.
We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful hot tubs and everyone was very nice !

This is a well-stocked and very comfortable condo. Parking is convenient w/ extra space for an additional vehicle.
Check in was easy. Additionally, grounds of the complex include a pool and are immaculate.
Routt County is a wonderful area to vacation in. Though ours was a fall trip to relax, hike, and view aspens, skiing at Steamboat is world class. Nearly any time of year, phenomenal recreation opportunities are available in this area of Colorado.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was Cozy and well stocked with all our needs anticipated We especially liked the washer and dryer in our room. After riding the mountain biking trails, being able to clean everything so it was ready for the next ride was awesome. It was a beautiful and restful stay!

Great stay- love steam boat, Trappeurs amenities and condo was what we needed. Brad was responsive when we had a couple minor requests. Reason I give 4 vs 5 stars is that the bed to the master bedroom Mattress really needs replacement- one side is totally caved in.

We had a great visit to Timberline Lodge #2105! Brad was easy to work with- very responsive, informative and helpful. Place was stocked well! The shuttle service was fantastic and made getting around so easy. The staff at Trappers Lair/Lodge is very friendly and helpful and having the lodge is super fun with hot tubs, pools, games, ping pong etc! Our unit accommodated our family well (2 adults, 3 kids ages 12, 10 & 7) but it is a tad “loved” and could use some updating. The bunk room worked well for the little kids but it is small. One adjustment I would suggest is don’t plan to walk to base with kids in ski gear. It’s too far and the shuttle is great! Thank you for the visit! Brad was great, Steamboat Vacation rentals was great and we hope to be back!

We love Steamboat, and Timberline Lodge at Trappeur`s Crossing Resort was a great place to stay. The on call shuttle to the gondola and around town was very convenient. We loved that our room was close to the pool and hot tubs. The condo was very clean with all of the amenities that we needed.

The key mailed To us did not work. We thought it was because it was not yet 4pm but discovered it was not keyed correctly and had to have the front desk give us new keys. We waited in lobby and around town with luggage for a few hours that were unnecessary if keys had worked properly. Except for that stay was nice. Hot tub was wonderful. Trappers Shuttle service was excellent
