The Annual snowfall in Steamboat averages over 333 inches and the term "Champagne Powder" was coined here. Steamboat offers almost 3000 acres of skiable terrain from the beginner to the hardcore. If summer is more to your liking, try mountain biking on some of the of outrageous terrain or kayak the roaring Yampa or fish on one of the many rivers and creeks or just hike around in one of the National Forest trails in the area.
