Welcome to Alpine Vista, your home away from home for your Steamboat getaway. This gorgeous 4 bedroom / 5 bath townhome is located about a half-mile from the Gondola at Steamboat Ski Resort. You can easily get there by car (2 minutes) or the free city shuttle (10 minutes). The free city shuttle will also take you to downtown Steamboat for shopping and dining.

This large end-unit townhome, built with heated hardwood floors throughout and vaulted ceilings, allows for great light and mountain views. Featuring dual ensuite primary bedrooms, it is the perfect retreat for large families. This home has room for four cars to park, with two of them fitting in a spacious garage equipped with 50-amp charging station for free Electric Vehicle charging. The heated garage also has plenty of room to store your skis, snowboards, bikes, and any other adventure gear that you may have with you.

Upon entrance from the garage on the ground level, you will find 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed with a full ensuite bathroom, and a great at-home work space. You will also find a bunk room that can sleep 4, with a twin bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed. The bunk room also has a full ensuite bath, and plenty of space for everyone and their winter or summer gear.

As you head up the stairs to the main living area, you will also find the first primary bedroom suite with a king bed. This room also has a comfortable sitting area where you can relax with a nice book or a hot cup of coffee. There is a full bathroom attached with a large soaking tub and gorgeous steam shower.

The striking gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a homemade meal. There is also plenty of seating for everyone in the dining area, with extra seating at the high-top bar. The main living area and half bath are both located directly off the kitchen. Cozy up by the fire after a day on the slopes, or enjoy a movie night on the large TV. On a warm summer night, you can sit and enjoy natural views of the mountain and breathe the fresh air while relaxing on the deck that is also equipped with a new Weber BBQ. You are also just steps away from the hot tub (available year-round) that is shared among this small townhome community.

Upstairs from the main living area, you will find the second primary suite bedroom. This large suite has a king bed and a twin sized day bed with a trundle. There is also a full en-suite bathroom with another steam shower, and two large closets. This room is stocked with a TV and board games making it the perfect place for the kids to retreat while the parents cook and socialize. Just outside this large suite, there is another at-home work space overlooking the main living area.

This spacious, luxury townhome is well suited for your next vacation, just minutes from the mountain base and ski area, and sure to be a place you want to visit again!

GETTING AROUND: This property is located just steps away from one of the many free city shuttle stops. This local shuttle can take you to the resort, the local grocery stores, and downtown. The free city shuttle makes getting around Steamboat very easy. If you would like to forgo the city bus, guests can easily get to the resort on foot in 15 minutes.

LARGE GROUP POLICY: Any violations of our house rules such as: Excessive Noise, Smoking, Extra Guests, After-Hours Hot Tub, Large Gatherings, Parking Overflow, and Camera Tampering will lead to a fine of $500, cancellation of your reservation and removal from the property.

Four couples enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable and the steam showers were really nice. Not much of a mud room - really just a hallway, but the garage is heated and relatively clean - could use a big broom to sweep out the grit. Boot warmer was a plus! Weeks ahead, the property manager assured us that our early arrivals could leave luggage in the garage, which is great, but they were slow communicating the code (last minute) despite prior communications promising to take care of that the day before. Definitely wear sandals or flip flops to get in the hot tub - the concrete is rough. These are minor nits in an otherwise excellent rental. Hot tub towels are located over the washer and dryer. And the bus service is great and truly nearby.

Very nice townhouse with lots of space for our two families with kids. Both of the master suites are very big and comfortable. Plenty of parking space. Easy access to the bus stop. Would definitely stay here again. We were sad to leave.

This place is the perfect location to be close to the base of the mountain but also have the calmness of being in the mountains. Gorgeous house with such amazing appliances and the beds were so comfortable after long ski days!

Location on bus route was perfect and easy to use. House was clean, as described, and perfect for our group. Only disappointment was not being able to get into the hot tub on our final night. The code we were given did not work and it appeared there was a new lock on the fence as just inside there was an open lock with the code we were given (tall friend could see it). We were in swimsuits trying to get in but had no luck. We couldn’t get thru to the office as it was after hours and we were departing the next morning.

Overall very nice. Super comfy beds, nice steam showers. A little cluttered on the furnishings, a little understocked on some important items (kitchenware, paper goods) and a couple of overlooked maintenance items but mgt quickly addressed those. The view of the parking lot is underwhelming but very few vehicles coming/going and the hot tub is close.

The house is very nice, everything's clean and in good shape and the management company is very responsive and accommodating. We even extended our stay by 2 days. Highly recommend.
