Built in the 1800s and transported from Lyons, Kansas to Steamboat Springs in 1991, this meticulously restored four-story landmark is the most distinctive address on the mountain — and summer is the best time to experience it.

While your neighbors check into another beige condo, your group of up to 17 settles into 8 bedrooms across four spectacular floors, a Steinway grand piano, a Tiffany-mantled fireplace, and a private hot tub waiting at the end of every adventure-filled day. The self-contained garage apartment sleeps 4 more with its own entrance, kitchen, and living space — ideal for giving one family unit a little privacy within the larger group.

THE HOUSE
A chef's kitchen anchors the main floor — perfect for big group breakfasts before heading out. The main floor is also the location of one of the two master suites. Downstairs, the entertainment hub has everything you need for evenings in: pool table, wet bar, and a private theater. The second floor has another master suite with a gas fire place and deep claw foot soaking tub. Additonally, another two bedrooms are on this level. A peaceful library and lounge on the third floor (along with two more bedrooms) is perfect for lazy afternoons between adventures.

YOUR SUMMER BACKYARD
Fish Creek Falls — a jaw-dropping 280-foot waterfall — is just minutes away. Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs offers a magical mountain soak. The Yampa River beckons for rafting and paddleboarding. Old Town Hot Springs has pools, lap lanes, and waterslides for all ages. The gondola runs in summer for hikers and sightseers, and world-class mountain biking trails fan out in every direction.
