  • The Lodge at Steamboat is located one block from the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, and there is a paved walkway that takes you directly from the building to the gondola, as well as dining, shopping, and nightlife located all along the new base area promenade.

    Unit A303 at The Lodge is a beautifully remodeled two-bedroom, top-floor condo. This rental features a modern and well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a great meal for family and friends. There is a dining area with seating for six people and additional seating at the bar area. The living room has soaring vaulted ceilings and includes a large gas fireplace, a TV, and a leather couch and chairs.

    The main bedroom has a TV and a sliding barn door that leads to a full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. The second bedroom has a TV and a full bathroom off the hallway. The living room also has a sofa bed if an additional sleeping area is needed. There is a separate ski storage locker in the building and a washer/dryer in the condo.

    This complex has a lot of great amenities including four outdoor shared hot tubs, an indoor hot tub, a heated pool, and outdoor gas grills. There is also a private shuttle, available in the winter season, that can take you back and forth from the base of the ski resort and to the grocery store or downtown Steamboat Springs for shopping and dining later in the evening. You can definitely get away without having a rental car when staying at this location.

    This condo is a great option for families that want all the conveniences and amenities of a resort property in a great location just a short walk from the ski resort.

Beautiful place, minutes from the slopes - hard to say enough about it!

The unit was great - well laid out, located, furnished, and appointed! With three beds in two bedrooms (and two full baths), it's a great unit for a family or group of friends. Fireplace, kitchen with all the tools, sitting area and table that seats six. Lots of light, as it's on the top floor, but you do need to lug your bags up three flights. Only challenge if you're coming in from out of town is that while there's all the pots, pans, and utensils, there's no staples, so you need to get everything (oil, butter, foil, coffee, tea, etc.) if you want to cook. Location is perfect - right by the path to the slopes, and the hot tubs are close. There's a heated ski locker in the building, and parking right in front. There's a vacasa shuttle that will take you anywhere you need to go in town, and you're right on the public bus line (which is free!). Highly recommend as a base for anyone coming to Steamboat to ski!

Very honest review

1st off we had a good time in Steamboat, plenty to do in summer. The rest though just doesn't add up to the few reviews left here. The place is nicely renovated sure, but spacious? NO. The kitchen has plates, cups, coffee maker, toaster etc but well equipped? NO. If you plan to cook basically anything aside from a frozen pizza here, youre going shopping for beyond what you brought, no seasoning, oil, basic basic things that literally every other place we stay across our beautiful state has at least some stocked. There is a pantry area full of said essentials, but it is locked for "owners only" - Brad Luth. He was kind enough to offer to go get what we needed, and we did decline, but think about it... -yeah we need salt, pepper, oil, sugar, etc...- we opted to get it all ourselves instead of waiting for an owner who only responded after a message via vrbo, text and call. LASTLY, THIS IS A HUUUGE ONE FOR US. The king size bed was easily the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. It feels literally like an extremely stiff spring board and the pillows are either hard and flat or so loosely filled with feathers that they do nothing. When on a staycay with your family and you sleep awful because of a terrible bed, it really really takes away from the trip. We will not return. We only had three people, but four would be the absolute maximum amount of people that could comfortably stay here. It is near downtown, but NOT within walking distance unless you want to walk for an hour along the highway. This review is very critical, and usually I just deal with it, but the other reviews to us seem fabricated because our time there was almost completely opposite of what is said in reviews and the listing.

Room was nice. Appreciate the heated storage room for gear. Walking to the slopes was easy and skiing back even easier. My only issue was the noise coming through the thin walls. People next door partied until 1 AM. I called security but not sure they responded. Would like more emphasis on people being considerate after 10 PM as the walls seem thin. Close to everything and spacious unit!

Great, bright, newly updated condo that has all the comforts of home with a view that reminds you that you’re in a mountain paradise! Walk to gondola, shopping and restaurants! Communication with Brad was always fast and informative! We will definitely be back to Steamboat and we plan on renting from Brad again!

The condo was even better than the photos. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals, and the proximity to the ski lifts was great. You could ski back all the way to the road. Note that the kitchen does not have any basics like oil, salt, pepper, foil, etc like some other rentals. Not a big deal, but make sure you come prepared. The ski locker in the building was a plus and we were just a short walk to the gondola and a few restaurants as well. Was a great place for our family of 4! Fabulous Getaway

From the moment we arrived our stay was fabulous. We were greeted by a bear in the tree outside the condo building; and on our last night there we saw a mama moose and calf in the grass right outside the living room window. The condo was updated and furnished so nicely, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were quite comfortable. We enjoyed the view looking up the mountain right from the balcony. We definitely look forward to visiting again.
