« My family and I had a great time at this property with the air hockey, dart board, firepit, & hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked with non-stick cookware, having everything one might need to cook. We cooked many of our meals, so this was appreciated (there's a limited number of restaurants in the area, but we like to cook). Communication with the owner was very easy and good. »

We had 2 hiccups while staying here but we ended up enjoying the house. 1st hiccup was the refrigerator because it was not getting cold and we had just brought groceries ‼️ so he told us to pull it out and we did but could not put it back, my friend had to keep climbing over the counter to get to her room, which was annoying. « Great weekend at Massanutten for a mountain biking. The house is spacious, however you they do not provide some essentials, like trash bags, dish soap, and coffee which is disappointing at this price point and size of house. »

The lodge was beautifully appointed, with board games, a well-equipped kitchen, TVs and video games, and a hot tub. There were many minor-but-thoughtful touches throughout, too. « Such a lovely and cozy house. We were in town to visit our college student and this housed all of us perfectly! The kitchen is fully stocked making meal preparation easy. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there was room for everybody. The beds were all comfortable and the reclining sofas & chair were relaxing after a day of hiking! Plenty of good movies on hand (or bring your own) plus enough channels available if you’re in the mood for some tv watching! Board games & cards are also on hand....

« Loved staying at this house this past weekend. Very comfortable for a family and we had a great time making memories here. May be a good idea to put electrical covers on the electric socket next to the lower bunk bed, we didn’t trust our toddler to stay on this bed for that reason, but everything else was perfect. Thanks for opening your home up! »

« Stayed for a weekend while visiting friends in Lexington. The host, Charles, was incredibly nice and helpful, and the Schoolhouse is cute with an interesting history. Convenient to Lexington and 1 mile away from Lexington Valley Winery. Schoolhouse was clean, spacious, private, with huge yard and river running next to it. »

« This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon »
