« If I could give this property a ten star rating, I definitely would! My family and I found the rooms to be quite spacious and very clean. The wood floors were beautifully stained and the appliances were very modern. I almost forgot to mention how comfortable the beds were. I thought I was sleeping on a cloud! This home felt like the "intersection" of Victorian charm and modern day luxury. On top of that, the home was well furnished with tissue, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.The property...

« This place was a delight! It was super clean and comfy. All of the rooms were spacious: we could have staged a square dance in the living room! There is a countertop fancy toaster oven in the kitchen to take the place of a larger appliance. About a 12-15 minute walk to Tufts. And, the neighborhood is full of bakeries and coffee shops, and ice cream too! Marcela checked in daily, AND let me drop my bags early which was helpful. It felt like home. »

« Our stay here was great. Kate was very responsive as soon as we checked in. She was able to provide an additional parking permit. Location was great for us as we have family a few blocks away and were able to walk there. Also a short walk from bus stop. We traveled with 2 children. One 4 year old who loved the children's books around the house. The other is 6 months and a pack n play and hught chair were provided. The espresso machine was fun to use. Will likely stay again. »

« The listing was technically accurate but here’s some things to know: there’s only window AC units in the bedrooms so on a hot day (90’s when we were in town) the kitchen and bathrooms were uncomfortably warm. There’s only a one lightbulb fixture in the main bathroom so using the bathroom at night isn’t ideal, very dim in there. The stairs are plentiful and a little sketch. Outside stairs are crumbling in places. First floor only has the small living room so you have to climb the narrow spiral...

« Definitely need a new toaster and the toilets both need to be secured to the floor tighter. There was a bit of an ant and silverfish issue that should be addressed. It would also be helpful to know that the one parking pass is for street parking only but there are parking option nearby. Otherwise, the location is great, there's plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable! »

« Lovely large apartment, comfortably and appealingly furnished, with a great selection of books and games that give it a very homey feel. Anne is very welcoming and accommodating. Just a few steps from Harvard Square, away from the bustle but super conveniently close to everything. A perfect place for our stay during Harvard commencement week. »

« Mattresses are firm. Pillows were thick and hard like throw pillows on a sofa. Arrived too late to fix, and it made the first night difficult to sleep. Host did not seem to want to remedy this and made excuses, then asked us to go a second night with the firm pillows. They eventually delivered some softer but cheap pillows after we insisted. Other than that, the place was good. »
