This 1,300 sf waterfront house is nestled into the hillside of the Muskegon River in Stanwood Michigan on a private road. The quiet country location is peaceful and beautiful yet only 10 minutes from downtown Big Rapids. This meticulously maintained home can be used as a summer getaway on the water or a winter retreat close to snowmobile trails. The main level entrance contains a family room with fantastic river views. There is also a full kitchen, dining area, utility room with washer/dryer, full bath and bedroom on this main level. Relax outside on the huge deck and feel like you are right over the river! Go upstairs for an additional bedroom, full bath and an a large 20x24 living area with scenic river views. Bring your fishing pole and cast a line! Feel free to bring your own boat and attach to the 30' seawall; this river opens up into a large all-sports lake right before Roger's Dam. Two kayaks and life jackets are also available for your use on the seawall.
For the safety and security of our guests, there are exterior security cameras mounted at the 2 house entrances plus on the back deck. There are no cameras inside the home. Guest privacy is important to us. Once you arrive, the owner camera notifications are turned off for your privacy.
