Mariner-Stunning Coast Cottage, - Beach, Elevator

St Simons Rentals is proud to present Mariner Cottage. This lovely cottage is located in the beautiful seaside community of Coast Cottages. The award winning community boasts of two pools and beach access with a boardwalk at a wide section of the St. Simon’s beach. Go for a morning stroll, only a short walk to the beach.

Mariner Cottage, built in 2000, has a unique feature of a stunning living room built in the shape of a lighthouse. A great place to relax with family and friends, this room is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. At night the lighting is spectacular and lends a cozy, comfortable, relaxed feeling to the room.

This three-story home has the living area and kitchen on the top floor. Enjoy the front and back porches with one of St. Simon’s beautiful live oaks just off the front porch and a lovely view of Coast Cottage Lane off the back covered porch.
You need not worry about carrying groceries to the top floor. Just hop on the elevator and ride to the top.
The cottage has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The first floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. The second floor also has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom with a King size bed is located on the second floor with a private bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is the 4th bedroom that features 2 twin beds and a full bathroom.

Enjoy a bike ride into the village or take a longer trip to the north end of the island to see the beautiful setting of Christ Church amongst the hundred-year-old live oaks. Another St. Simon’s favorite is an early morning bike ride to the beach to see the sunrise. We have bikes available for rent.

Unique Home!

The uniqueness about this property is the living room. With its incredible ceiling detail, and given the shape of the room, you feel as though you're inside of a lighthouse. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do! We had a wonderful time, thank you!!

Beautiful home

Only there for five days but was. Great location and the elevator was a huge bonus for my father who has knee trouble. My daughter enjoyed her bedroom and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beach is such a close walk and the pool was warm even when it was cold out so the kids could swim!

Perfect layout great location

Really love this vacation home, place is as nice as the photos. Layout perfect for our group, son 26 and daughter 22 had their own rooms with a bathroom to share on bottom level, my husband and I with the master suite on the next level with our 16 year only and her friend with twin beds and a bathroom of their own on our floor. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was beautiful. Spent mornings drinking coffee on the deck outside the kitchen. The separation of the bedrooms and living space was nice to let everyone sleep in. Close to a great spot to put Kayaks in near the marsh. Small walk to the beach but we rented golf carts and there is parking for them (but not cars) near the pool/beach. Town was friendly and local restaurants really good. Played golf in Brunswick county, very nice course only a short drive but adorable. Home owners provided plenty of beach chairs and toys which was a nice bonus. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

Wonderful Stay!

We had such a great experience renting Harold and Melissa’s place! The location is excellent - from the pools in the neighborhood, to the beach access and tons of nearby restaurants. We are already talking about when we can come back!

Excellent stay at the mariner cottage

We came down in the off-season to attend the gator bowl in Jacksonville. Communication with Harold was very easy and the house was as described and very nice. The top floor with the wall of windows was beautiful with awesome views of the trees and marsh. We also enjoyed some outside time on the porches. The house was well equipped with all of the necessities. The elevator came in handy as it is multiple flights to get to the top floor. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay!

The property made a great place for our family to gather for Christmas. It has great access to the beach, 1/2 mile from some great restaurants/ shops and is not far from the main downtown area. We would like to come back when it gets a little warmer so we can enjoy all that this property and the island has to offer.

Fabulous home!

Perfect location!

Location Perfection!

We were in St Simmons for a family wedding at The King and Prince. This property was perfect for the 6 adults. Plenty of room and enough bathrooms. So close to beach , bikes and restaurants.

Lots of space, perfect location and wonderful time!

The owners were great! Provided clear communication and even recommendations of things to do/places to go in the area. Not only was the unit clean, well stocked and furnished, the surrounding areas and other cottages were as well. All round fantastic experience. We will be back!

Great location , less than 5 min walk to beach and pool. Host excellent communication , house very clean, plenty of kitchen equipment . Pool chairs and cart , village restaurants excellent, favorites Palmer cafe and Tramici Italian Only negative would be no 1/2 bath on main living level (third floor ) . There was an elevator . My family and I were able to climb stairs so not a problem . Enjoyed sitting on swing in back porch . Excellent overall experience.
