Belmara Retreat - 4 min to beach

Brand new to our vacation rental program - you can't beat this location!

This condo is on the south end of St. Simon's Island in the prestigious Ocean Walk community. It's just a 10 minute walk to the pier village (shopping/restaurants/boutiques) and a quick 4 minute drive to East Beach. 🏖️

Aside from the great location, you have lots of amenities on-site in the community. ☀️

These include a heated pool (open year-round), duck pond, fitness center, tennis/pickleball courts and even a playground for the kiddos.

There is open parking in front of the condo so you don't have to worry about securing a spot since there is plenty of parking available.

Inside the home you have a comfortable and well-decorated living room,  fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms with a King bed in the primary bedroom and Queen in the guest room. You also have board games to keep you occupied just in case the weather doesn't cooperate. There is an in-unit washer and dryer also.

There is a patio outside for relaxing and enjoying the fresh salt air with your morning coffee or evening cocktail.

We offer a couple of beach chairs, some beach towels and pool noodles for your use during your stay!

Important Items to Note:

All reservations are charged a $50 processing fee. This fee is non-refundable, even if the reservation is cancelled.

Trailers, Boats and other commercial vehicles may not be allowed on the property. Please inquire with us if you are unsure if your vehicle would qualify to be parked on-site.

Please consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip. This may cover you for instances of medical emergencies or inclement weather. We unfortunately can’t offer refunds for these types of situations so we want to ensure you’ve properly covered yourself.

Pets are not allowed.

Linens are provided for your stay along with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, body wash and laundry pods. They will not be replenished during your stay so make sure to bring some extras if you need!

Pack N Play and strollers are available upon request for $15 each for the duration of your stay. Please notify us at least 1 day in advance if you would like to rent them so we can ensure they are delivered prior to your arrival.

For stays of 30 nights or more, we will collect a $750 refundable security deposit.

House Rules:

Smoking is not allowed. $2,000 minimum fee for smoking inside the house.
Quiet hours per the county are 9pm to 8am. Violation of ordinance will result in immediate eviction without refund.
No loud music. No parties. No parking on the lawn.
There will be a $75 minimum charge for any missing remotes, including ceiling fan, and TV remotes.
No pets. Bringing pets into the home will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.

Winter Getaway

This is the second year we stayed in this condo complex. The town is a short walk for dinner, ice cream, and walking and sunsets at the pier. .The beach is a little longer walk but worth it. We checked out the bikes but didn't think they were in ridable condition. .

Not quite what we hoped

This was our third trip to SSI, and our third time staying at Ocean Walk. We wanted a smaller condo this year, so decided to give this property a try based on its favorable reviews. Based on the other reviews, we expected the property to be nicer than it was. As noted, the location is perfect for accessing most of what SSI has to offer visitors, and the hosts are quite responsive and accommodating. The king bed in the primary was very comfortable.However, the condo itself is in need of updating and a good cleaning. The carpeting is worn and stained, pulling up along the edges and appears mildewed in places. The furniture in the living room is pretty cheaply made and can really only accommodate 3 adults somewhat comfortably, although the condo sleeps 4. There were dirt and crumbs accumulated along the edges and corners of the carpet as well as in the cushions of the couch. The second bedroom was missing pillowcases on 2 of the pillows. The gasket of the washing machine was permanently stained with mildew. At some point, there was an apparent DIY update to the kitchen which resulted in the ceiling being oddly patched together. The balcony deck, railings and furniture were coated in some kind of black soot, which we didn't realize until our feet and hands were covered with it. Although there are 2 bathtubs, the drain stopper did not work in either of them.With some TLC, this could be a great property.

Clean and comfortable

Apartment was clean and in great location. However, we had to deal with a maintenance issue that we were not expecting while on vacation. Missing vertical blinds slats prevented us from enjoying privacy in the living room. Also, body soap and shampoo were not provided. Make sure you bring it to prevent a trip to grocery store!

Nice Location for a Getaway While Reconnecting With Friends

We needed a spot to lay our heads after visiting with friends in Savannah and Brunswick. This spot was great, and in proximity to restaurants and the pier. The hosts were quick to respond when I had a question.

Hosts Kris and Hannah were the best we have ever worked with, always responded quickly about any questions we may have had. Condo was clean, little glitch with smoke alarm chirping but changed batteries and good to go. This condo was a great place to stay. We love the location of Ocean Walk, and have stayed at several different units. This one is located upstairs and was quiet despite it being across from the main pool. We would choose to stay again.

We had problems with our VRBO app and the hosts kept us updated from the time our account had a problem to the day we left. They were awesome. Clean facilities. We had a wonderful long weekend celebrating a 40th birthday! We have stayed in the complex before and absolutely love the location! But the thing to brag about most with this place was the communication with the host! They are so responsive and always replied super quickly! LOVELY PLACE TO STAY

Very clean place. It was nice and cozy. I was very grateful for all the extras like two bicycles to use, beach chairs, etc. This is a great location. 5 minute drive to the beach. A couple minutes away from all the pier shops and restaurants. A grocery store is 5 minutes away. We will definitely be coming back here!

Perfect for our small family

We had an excellent rental experience. The place was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Communication with the property manager was the best we have ever had. We will likely seek to stay here again during our next trip to St. Simon's.
