Beach stay

The location was wonderful,plenty of restaurants and close to the beach. The pool was always clean. However when we arrived there were no beach chairs as per the rental agreement. When asked at the front desk they said it was the owner 's responsibility and the owner did not respond. Since we flew in this was an added expense. It will s a true efficiency but that worked for us but there were not even a few paper towels to start out only some coffee.

Great location but needs updating

The location is great however this condo unit needs a remodel. Although we didn’t need a kitchen, this kitchen is really outdated and needs a complete renovation. We wore socks the whole time and threw them away as they were black from the dirty floor. The owners were great, absolutely no issues with them. We watched a beautiful sunset sitting on our balcony.

Great Mother/Daughter Vacay

Our check-in and check-out was very smooth. Our room was smaller than anticipated but worked great for just my daughter and I. We loved that the beach was a short walk away. We were able to enjoy your pool as well. We do wish that the elevator had air conditioning or a fan. It was terribly hot. Ease of exchanging dirty towels for clean ones was very easy. Staff we encountered were very kind and courteous! Thanks for a great stay!

This is an old old motel that was converted into a “condo”. The room itself was ok even though there is no way two people can sleep in either bed. The ocean view was limited due to the tall buildings across the street. Amenities - none. I would never stay here again when you can stay in one of the many nicer newer hotels in the area.

Almost on Clearwater Beach

We loved being in the center of so many great restaurants, ice cream and gift shops, resorts w/live music at night etc. It was a very short walk to the beautiful beach which had reasonably priced chairs, umbrellas and cabanas; clean restrooms; and a short walk to on the beach coffee and gift shops. The room was clean, had a big refrigerator, a Mr. Coffee machine, a toaster (only one side was usable, the other side wedged the bread against the elements and burned it), and a large microwave. It had a few gotchas: the hot/cold faucets on the kitchen sink are reversed-took a day to figure that out. Also the light in the bathroom would turn off at random times. The Property Mgr. was informed (they were great, by the way) but it was never fixed. But overall, even factoring in those two minor problems, it was a great stay and 1st time visit to Clearwater Beach.

Perfect

This was a nice little place. Perfectly big enough for my husband and I. It was very clean. The beds were nice and the tv was huge! Everything for us was in walking distance. So our rental car stayed put our whole trip. There are restaurants, a little store, Icecream, everything within walking distance. The pool was a nice area and was kept clean. They also have an ice machine on property as well.

Some helpful info

Some helpful tips-Free coffe in lobby. The unit has a 5 cup coffee maker with 4 pre-filled coffee filters( 2 caf, 2decaf). Behind elevator on ground level you may find some beach toys, floats, chairs to use. We did not see this until day 5. We bought beach chairs to add to the collection when we left. Fridge did not get cold - front desk immediately brought up a mini fridge for our stay. Heated pool? Perfect first few days then much cooler (heard other guests say heater was broken "again") Location was perfect, sunset right from our balcony (between 2 high rises but still...) Unit has AC. It wasn't mentioned in the details. When I asked the owner he just said there was a dehumidifier that should not be touched. VERY congested on the beach in this area. North of the pier was less crowded. Wall to Wall beach chairs, canopies, umbrella to rent $35+tax a day. Would I rent again? Absolutely. But these are some tidbits another renter may like to know.

Disappointing experience.

We rented this unit for six nights and only stayed one. The first night we stayed both myself and my husband woke up with bites all over our body. We contacted the managers and in turn they came and inspected the room and called Orkin to fumigate. The manager told us he or the owner would contact us after the investigation which they did not do. We left the property and did not once hear from the owner or manager. Seriously, that is not how you treat a customer. We assumed the unit we rented was uninhabitable. We have since contacted the owner to ask for an explanation and a refund. They have chosen not to respond.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We did not have any complaints. However, one suggestion would be to have curtains over the windows. The blinds could only keep out so light.

Never moved our car! We could walk everywhere. We loved the pool. Warm enough to swim!!
