Just after the entrance to Glacier National Park there is a small path leading out on a rock formation that provides incredible views of the mountain scape across the lake. We thought we would be able to take the Going To The Sun Road through the park, but it’s opening was delayed (it was already the middle of May) due to a late thaw and portions of the road were still covered in snow. This little overlook, only a short walk past the gate, was perfect after having driven over an hour out of the way to drive through the park. #mountains #nationalparks #roadtrip

Free camping all winter here! This is the only way to have the whole campground in Glacier to yourself! Prepare for cold and enjoy! Not much #snow on the ground, no skiing down here. But up in the mountains there's some left!
Native American Indian Lakotas shared dance, prayer, and traditions at St May's Visitor Center in Glacier National Park. Excellent programs in the Visitor Center as well in in our campground in the evening.

You can't beat the location of this hotel and the convenient access to top hiking trails. The staff and dining are excellent. I have stayed here twice and my only complaint is that the mattresses are uncomfortable.

Attention à l'heure d'arrivée !!! Il n'y a pas de réception la nuit. Je n'avais pas vu et normalement il fallait arriver avant 21h. Nous sommes arrivés à 11h30 en appelant avant pour prévenir, le propriétaire est venu nous accueillir. Nous sommes donc arrivés de nuit et l'hÎtel n'est pas proche d'une ...
