The Space:

Villa Sea Bright 63 sits on an elevated stretch of oceanfront within Coral Estate, with the Caribbean Sea open in front of it rather than right at the water's edge. There is no direct sea access from the villa, but the height gives an uninterrupted view across the water and a steady breeze that a beach-level spot wouldn't have.



Five bedrooms, four bathrooms

Four of the five bedrooms are en-suite and open directly onto the terrace, so each one has its own share of the view and its own way outside. The master suite is on the upper floor, with the widest ocean view in the villa; open the doors and the sea breeze and the sound of the waves come right in. The fifth bedroom has a bunk bed, a good fit for children or extra guests travelling with the group.



Pool and terrace, for sunrise and sunset

At the centre of the villa is a large terrace with the pool as its focal point, set up with a sun deck and loungers and facing the water in both directions. It works as well for a quiet coffee at sunrise as it does for a full day in the sun or a sunset drink before dinner.



The Neighborhood:

Coral Estate is a gated residential resort in Banda Abou, on the quiet west coast of Curaçao near Sint Willibrordus. The estate was built around three ideas - peace, space and safety and has 24/7 security. Cactus, divi-divi trees and dry kunuku scrubland surround the grounds, and the flamingos of Jan Kok bay are a short drive away.



The Coral Estate Centre brings together a spa, dive school, boutique and bakery, the last of which serves breakfast in the morning and pizza at night. On the water you'll find two restaurants: Karakter, with loungers and beach service on the resort beach, and Koraal on the cliff above.



Three of the island's best beaches are close by: Daaibooi, Playa Porto Marie and Cas Abao are all within 15 minutes.



Getting Around:

Coral Estate sits about 25 minutes from Hato International Airport (CUR) and roughly 25 to 30 minutes from Willemstad, so the whole island stays within comfortable reach while you're staying on the quiet side of it.



Do you need a car in Curaçao? For a stay here, yes. There's no supermarket inside the gate and the beaches, dive sites and restaurants that make the west coast special are spread out along the coast road. With a car you can chase a new beach every day, start the morning with an early hike in Christoffel Park or drive into Willemstad for shopping and dinner.

Other Things to Note:

A few practical details worth knowing before you book.



- Every guest gets a complimentary drink at Karakter, the beach restaurant at the water's edge on the resort.



- The property is cleaned and the beds made up before arrival, with bath and beach towels ready for you. On stays of five nights or more, cleaning and fresh linen and towels are included every three to four days.



- Pricing follows the number of guests you enter, so it's worth checking that against your party. One bedroom per two guests is included in the rate; extra bedrooms can be added for a nightly charge once your booking is confirmed.



- A barbecue can be added for an extra charge - gas, charcoal or electric depending on the property - set up ready to use and cleaned afterwards.




- Electricity and water are included, based on roughly 8 to 12 hours of air conditioning a day. Nearly all guests stay within that; a surcharge applies for usage well beyond it.




- A refundable USD 500 deposit is arranged at check-in, preferably by credit card authorisation, covering any damage or loss and released in full after check-out.
