First off my reservations were incorrect when I arrived to the Hotel. It was a late travel, so I didnât make it to the property until roughly 130am. I arrived at the hotel after a long and tiring night of travel only to have to be frustrated and disappointed. The reason for the disappointment was because the clerk at the front desk check me into the incorrect room. It was not the type of room that I had booked through Expedia. I was expecting the type of stay that was advertised and sold on the website, and ultimately the type of room that I paid for. That did not happen. After going back and forth with the clerk at the front desk, I was then checked into the most ridiculous room that they could offer. I checked into the room and unpacked. Once I unpacked I sat on the bed to communicate with my family, to let them know that I had made it to St. Louis safely. This was only to realize that the comforter, pillowcases, and sheets on the bed were wet. To the point that my new pants were damp. Iâm not even sure what the substance was, but I was disgusted. Next I couldnât help but to realize the ridiculous amount of gnats flying around in the room. This put me into investigation mode, so I decided to check out the rest of the room. I made my way into the bathroom to find that the towels were filthy with dirt and hair on them. I have pics and video to support this claim. Also the tub was dirty with scum throughout the tub.
