Check in was normal and that is where our expectations & reality separated. Entering the room one of the very first things we noticed was a huge cobweb about 12 -18" long in the corner. Next while depositing our bags in the room i was almost hit in the head by one of the closet doors as i tried to open it as neither were on the track. They were leaned in the opening. I reset them both.
After a 5 hr drive we were looking forward to having dinner. My wife & daughter were waited on with drinks & i arrived a moment later. We ordered our meals together & then everything really fell apart with staff & quality of service. We were never checked on while we waited, for refills or other needs. Our daughter & my food was delivered at the same time luke warm. Waitress returned with a bowl of fruit for me. We were never brought napkins or utensils the entire time. After about 20-25 mins we were finished eating and my wife hed still not been served her meal. Absolute failure. She was disgusted, left the table & spoke with the manager on the way to the room. He said the meal would be comped which it was.
Sitting down to relax afterward my wife had the pleasure of her arm sticking to the table from an unknown substance that had obviously not been cleaned well, if at all. I have photos of the area before & how filthy the rag was. Traveling with the family instead of friends expectations are much higher. Our stay here failed miserably to meet those expectations. I could go on but am limited
