Could have been better
The pictures of the patio out front aren’t accurate, there is no dining room table and there aren’t overhead fans outside. Both of which would have been nice.
When we arrived there were dishes in the outdoor sink that were dirty and the dishes in the dishwasher weren’t clean. It turns out the dishwasher was broken. We notified Chris and he did send the cleaner to come wash the dishes. The hand towel rack was also broken.
There was furniture that was delivered and there was no advanced notice that Chris and his team were going to come to swap the furniture outside. (Also the new furniture was way less comfortable than what was originally there). He did call an hour before we got home but I did not get it because service on the beach is spotty. I suspect he called when he arrived. It was jarring to come home and seeing a bunch of random men on the patio moving furniture and touching our things that were out there. 24 hours notice to ask would have been nice. He did ask the next day when we would be home to come the following day, so that did improve.
Towards the end of our trip the cleaner was outside the home and asked as we came back from dinner if we had extra towels because she forgot to put one in another unit. Apparently all of the towels are only in our unit? We wondered whether or not she would have just let herself into the home if we weren’t there.
Overall, location of the home was beautiful, but we wouldn’t stay here again.
