This was my first time in st. John, and I don't think I could have found a better location to stay. I was 3 minutes from the car ferry. The property has a designated parking space, which was very convenient. You are a 2 minute walk from Frank Bay, which is a prime spot for sunset. I had dinner reservations at Ocean 362 at The Gallows, and it was a 3 minute walk. 5 minute walk to Wharfside, where the shops and ferry (for people) are. I made the mistake the first day to drive and park near the visitor center and Mongoose junction. It's barely a 15 minute walk. If you don't take Hill Street and walk closer to the water it is an easier walk. I traveled as a solo woman and had zero concerns regarding safety. It is a safe location. Near everything, but in a quiet neighborhood so you don't hear the night life activity.
The property has everything you need. Indoor shower, AC (brand new), kitchen, and closet. There are plenty of beach towels and beach chairs. Even a small cooler. It's large enough for a solo traveller or couple.
You get all of these amenities with a fraction of the price of other VRBO's in the area, and you don't miss out on a thing.
Danny was the property manager for the week, and he was extremely quick to answer any questions or address any issues. Steve is an amazing host, very attentive, and genuinely wants to make sure you have a wonderful stay.
