1 The Links - amazing views St Ives Bay

Running between Carbis Bay and the idyllic village of Lelant is the peaceful Church Lane. From here, a private lane leads to The Links at its far end, bordered by the West Cornwall golf course on two sides and fields on the third. Thanks to the gently undulating downward slope of the course, this property enjoys unbroken views of St Ives Bay, from Godrevy Lighthouse, across the Towans at Gwithian to Lelant's own Porthkidney beach and dunes through which runs the iconic St Ives branch line. Lelant station is an easy 30-minute walk from The Links.

Using paths that run across the golf course you can be on the South West Coast Path within seconds and walk to St Ives. The more adventurous can follow St Michaels Way to St Michael's Mount, part of the medieval route of pilgrimage to Santiago, from its start at Lelant's ancient Church of St Uny along the coast, turning inland at Carbis Bay, across Penwith via Trencrom and Gulval and on to St Michael's Mount.
