Don't miss the opportunity to relax in the spacious, fenced backyard, perfect for unwinding and enjoying some outdoor time.

We're delighted to welcome your furry companions! A $75 pet fee per pet is applicable, and we kindly request a maximum of two dogs, each weighing up to 40 lbs, and non-shedding.
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask that dogs refrain from using furniture or beds. Please be responsible for cleaning up any messes your dogs may create during your stay. If our cleaners have to perform excessive cleaning, we will be passing those fees onto you.

Springfield get away

What a lovely little home tucked away in a quiet neighborhood for a Springfield get away for the weekend. We were able to take our 2 chihuahuas with us and they loved the back yard for entertainment. Very easy to find. Host was very friendly and informative. I would visit this property again. Thank you

Not as clean as I would like but stay was ok

We had to wash dishes of the guest that stayed before us and was expected to wash our dishes and theirs. Had an infant and there was little pieces on the floor. She almost choked on. A piece of foil she found. Make sure you get insurance as well. Owner will not refund!

Bright and comfortable in quiet neighborhood

Stayed here with my husband while at a conference in the area. The house is cute, clean, bright and the bed comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the patio and backyard as well as the covered carport as it rained during our trip.There was good communication with host.Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A Lovely Stay

A unique, cool looking home situated in a quiet neighborhood, with comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen and all other necessary items for a satisfying stay. Strongly recommended, and to back that up, this is a our second time in the house.

It was dirty. Then the owner tried to charge us. No where to put the garbage was full. Then said there was gum on the floor. It was actually play doh. Then said the closet was broken. It was not!!! All lies!!!!

Great location to MSU!

We stayed here for parents weekend for my son and it was perfect! We were a short drive from campus and able to house him with us so he didn’t have to stay at the dorm. The beds were very comfortable and the house in general was very comfortable! The tv wouldn’t connect while we were there and Nathan was extremely responsive in trying to fix it. We will definitely stay here again on another visit!

Gem of a getaway!

This adorable little house is settled in a quiet neighborhood that isn't too far from convenient amenities. The owners have dug into the midcentury modern theme without going overboard. It was super clean upon arrival. The kitchen has been redone and has all the modern appliance with a large island workspace. If traveling with electronics, the kitchen is the only room with 3-prong outlets; the bedrooms have the original 2-prong. The bathroom has retained what look to be original fixtures, but the knobs, faucets and shower head are definitely upgrades. There is a large backyard with shade trees and a small brick patio, which is currently not decorated. The owner does acknowledge this and invites renters to bring folding chairs if enjoying the outdoors is on your to-do list. I hope upgrades to this area are in the plans because it's a really great space. However, this lack of seating does not in any way detract from the wonderful space for us. Communication with the owner(s) was way, way above bar. I had some trouble with the reservation and their response was quick and reassuring and they got it figured out quickly. They check in with us via email at least twice during our stay to make certain everything was top-notch and they made it so easy to let them know if we had had any concerns. Springfield is a driving town, so most amenities are relatively close. The house sits not too far from a major by-way connection so you can get to most places with ease.

Great Springfield Stay

Great communication by our gracious hosts. Smooth check-in and check-out experience. The property was well-kept and in an overall peaceful neighborhood. We loved the unique throwback style of the house. Our two dogs loved the fenced backyard and tall windows. If we are ever back in Springfield we would enjoy staying there again.

A uniquely appointed [e.g., lamps and paneling from the 60s] mid-century modern home with modern amenities where appropriate- plumbing, kitchen appliances and comfortable beds. We picked this listing because of the architecture but found the overall experience very satisfying. Quiet, clean, inexpensive, and comfortable. Five stars.

Springfield Dog Show stay.

Had a wonderful time reconnecting with close friends and this house made it so simple!! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house was very comfortable and met all my needs. I had no problems but the host made sure all was good!! Would love to stay at this house next year!!
