The location was the perfect walk from town and absolutely stunning. The pictures don't give it justice. The entire place and every room was perfect. I haven't one complaint/concern. « Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat. »

« Maison spacieuse, facile à vivre et bien située pour découvrir le Burren. Feu de tourbe bien agréable le soir. Mais impossible d'assoir 9 personnes autour de la table, trop petite, pas assez de chaises.Vaisselle en quantité suffisante mais quelques cocottes avec pâtes collées.Sèche-linge n'ayant jamais fonctionné malgré l'intervention de Mary, la gérante. 50 euros réglés pour "frais de vacancier supplémentaire" (sic) alors que nous étions 9 personnes pour une maison pouvant en accueillir 11 :...

« Wonderful location! The house is perfect for a family, group of friends, a few couples. Lots of space, everything you need, in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to the market for our food and easily walk downtown for our fun. Zero complaints. Thanks for hosting us …we want to come back asap. »

« Lovely house with a vintage feeling. The living room (and 2 bedrooms) have bay windows with amazing view of the lake. Be prepared for stunning sunsets! And so practical to watch our teenager while he was fishing from the pier. House was very well equipped. Neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. The village is 5mn away with many shops and restaurants. Excellent base to visit Connemara. »

« My wife and I had a three-year COVID delayed 35th (turned into 38th) wedding anniversary in Ireland, Spain and Portugal. Although Doolin wasn't on our list for 2020 we added it for 2023 and were very happy we did so; especially given the great communication and flexibility that we had from Rosanna and Patrick. Can't say enough good things about them and the property. We look forward to our next trip to Ireland and Doolin (with Rosanna and Patrick's house) will definitely be one of our stops. »

« Beautiful , well equipped house in a perfect location for visiting Connemara, Galway etc. Lots of information on things to do and detailed explanations of how to use all the equipment in the house. A perfect place to get away from it all. And, of course, if you like fishing, the house is on the shore of one of Ireland's most famous trout lakes. »

« Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette maison traditionnelle irlandaise. Le côté typique traduit par une décoration vieillissante et usée nous a un peu déçu (ensemble négligé et poussiéreux- ménage à parfaire dans la finition). Un renouvellement du mobilier et de cette décoration serait sans doute bienvenu. Le paiement par pièces de l'électricité suivant notre consommation nous a surpris et un peu agacé. (C'était mentionné seulement sur le guide d'arrivée). D'un autre côté, la maison est...

« This is a lovely house in the Irish countryside. It has lovely decorations, was well furnished, and very comfortable. Dièdre was very responsive and helpful. Getting to the house takes a bit of doing, but the location is quiet and is great for taking walks. »

« The place was spotless. The linens and toiletries are good quality. Nice to have laundry facilities, although challenging to navigate! »
