Bridge-view at Cataract Falls Lodge

  • The Bridge-view suite is an end unit with views to the nearly 200 year old covered bridge at the entrance to the Cataract Falls State Recreation Area. This Suite is one of three Suites in the lodge that can be rented individually or combined. The suite sleeps up to 4 people in a luxurious setting with a kitchenette to rival the best a fancy hotel suite has to offer. In addition to a comfortable interior this suite like every suite in the lodge has its own personal outdoor accommodations with pavilion, fire pit and gas grill. Sit outside and gaze over rolling hill at the parks entrance and listen to the falls in the background.

Beautiful place, quiet and not on major roads, and so close to cataract falls we were able to walk. Owners very nice and considerate. Would definitely recommend!!!

Host is great and the place is great. The bed is so comfortable...best sleep we have had lately! Great location just up the hill from the falls and trails. Seating and swings...everything you need for a great get away!

Our host was kind and informative. Bridge view was a perfect little surprise. We walked over to the covered bridge park for a small hike and enjoyed the serene views.

Very nice, clean and well-maintained property and lodging. Super close to Cataract Falls park. You can see the historic covered bridge and hear the falls from the rental space. Will definitely be back when we are in town visiting family.

Pretty spot!

This is such a pretty spot right next to Cataract Falls! The suite was just perfect for the two of us and Bill was so helpful!

Quiet, clean comfortable stay!

Checking in and out was super easy. The lodging was clean, comfortable and quiet. We didn't get to utilize the outdoor fire pit like I had hoped, but it was a perfect spot for a quick stay in the area. Definitely recommend!

Just what I needed

I needed a quiet place to stay for work, that was also fragrance free. I was very happy to hear the owner understood and made it easy to find the location. I enjoyed the waterfalls and hiking trails close by. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area if possible.Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Fabulous Second Stay!

This is our second time staying at this exact location. Just like last year, the communication and details were very organized and straight forward. The property is clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it to others needing a place in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We went to see the beautiful Cataract Falls

Just wanted to get away from the stress of life. This was the perfect place to relax, reflect and rejuvenate. The property was clean & beautiful and the owners where very nice. We’re planning on a return trip very soon when the weather warms up.

Cozy Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was amazing and right next door to the Cataract Falls Park. It was beautiful, in fact we got to see it snowing before we left, and it really made us want to stay and sip on some hot chocolate while taking in the beautiful scenery! Unfortunately, Mondays have to come along and ruin all of the fun….

We stayed during the week. It was quiet and sufficient. Others may want to know that there is an electric skillet and hot plate in addition to the outdoor grill. We couldn't find the owners phone number as there might be a leak in front of the kitchen sink. Also the sheets did not look clean.
