« This was, by far, the least clean property I have ever stayed in. There were signs that it wasn't going to be nice, and certainly not fancy, but I was still shocked by just how dirty the facility is. There were used tissues on the floor under the edge of my bed, the mirrors and television were covered with fingerprints and smudges from attempted cleaning, and the room smelled like smoke - no doubt because the windows were open and there are ashtrays outside each room. « The room was clean and efficient , we paid additional 100 per night for a scenic view . Our view was nothing scenic, one window view was the house next door and the front window was the parking lot . « We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. The location is wonderful. You can walk to town with all the historic shops and delicious restaurants. We...
