Zula Siesta is located on the east side of South Padre Island (beach side) and is a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and attractions. We will send you all our recommendations for things to do and where to eat after you book.
You have the entire house. This is a vacation rental
We are pet friendly! Well behaved pets are welcome with a $150 pet fee (per pet). If you plan to bring more than 5, contact us. Our backyard is completely fenced with a privacy fence and gates.

Kitchen & Dining Kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven & range (electric), dishwasher, coffee pot (dual for both drip & K-pods), blender, toaster, rice cooker, slow cooker, pots, pans, silverware, kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, and much more. If you are bringing a pet we ask that: No pets inside the pool. No pets on beds & furniture. Pick up after your pet.
Large fenced yard with ample covered space under the house. The fenced area is accessed through a gate under the house. no direct access from within the house.

Young guests: We welcome any responsible guests however if the majority of the adults in your group are under 25 we require a $750 refundable damage deposit paid separately after you book. If all guests are under 21, alcohol is not allowed on the property.
Check in: We will send you the smart lock door code on the day of your arrival as soon as the house is ready.
House will be ready by 5pm on your check in date. We always try to have the house ready as soon as we can, however we can’t guarantee early check-in in advance. It’s best to check back with us the night before.
Check out time is 10am.
Security: For your security and ours, we have Ring cameras on the front door, parking area and pool equipment. Cameras will record video and sound when detecting movement.
Cancellations: Please note, the cancellation policy applies for any unforeseen circumstances including illness, death, weather and other travel related issues. We recommend all our guests to purchase travel insurance for their peace of mind.
About us: We are the Weinstein Family and we own & manage all our seven Zula Beach Vacation Homes in Destin Florida and South Padre Island Texas. We completely renovated this property top to bottom when we bought it in 2021. Our beach houses are not just an investment for us. We love buying, renovating, and hosting guests in our properties! The beach is our happy place and we are happy to have you as our guests in our favorite locations - South Padre Island & Destin. We put our hearts and souls into this house to make it beautiful, comfortable and fun for every group any time of the year. We had 14 women in our group. It was spacious and relaxing. The house is fully equipped the only thing I would suggest bringing with you is large skillets. We brought 2 large skillets and it worked out perfectly so that we could cook for this large group.

Great property for families or larger groups. A short block walk to the beach. Each room had its own bathroom. Pool was nice and the shaded area underneath the house near the pool. Has a bathroom at the pool and plenty of toys for the pool and the beach including a wagon and boogie boards. Host has excellent communication. A bit low on water pressure in the master shower and a not so comfy living room couch but the place had everything else. Well stocked kitchen, huge island and dining room table, exceptionally large flat screen TV in the living room and every room. AC was super cold!!! Entrance is on the second floor if you have old knees but we would return again. Our pet dog had as much fun as we did :)

The house was perfect for the group that came. It had plenty of utensils too use in the kitchen. We really like the ice maker in the kitchen. But the knives could definitely use some sharpening. The grill out back was nice that it didn’t use propane. But it definitely could use some cleaning. When we tried to cook up burgers it flammed up really bad. But overall it was a great experience. The owners were very receptive to our questions and concerns.

The house was in a very convenient, walkable area, very close to the beach. The house sleeps a lot of people. It could use some updating. Needs drywall repairs in the bathroom and smells a bit musty. Cookware and utensiles are very poor qualilty. It's not a kitchen for someone who actually cooks. There were no casserole dishes, very cheap flimsy or broken cookware - like broken plastic measing cups, torn spatula, poor quality cookware and blender didn't work well. The chairs are all metal or hard plastic, so not comfortable if sitting for long periods like when working remotely. The pool and hot tub were awesome. We paid extra to have them heated while we were there in the winter and definitley worth it. There is no back door to access the back of the house. It would be nice if they could extend the front deck a few feet and add stairs to access the back yard. Since there is no back door you have to walk from the hot tub/pool to the front of the house at the street to go back inside. I love that it was dog friendly. However, it was a bit of a hassle not being able to easily let the dog out into the back yard since there is no back door. A dog must be put on a leash and walked out the front door at the street and around to the backyard. Not a huge deal, but renters with dogs should be aware of this. The owners were excellent. They were extremely responsive. Any issues or questions we had were immediately addressed.
House is only1/2 block from the beach. Very safe neighborhood.

The house was a perfect winter getaway. The space was clean and had everything (and more) we needed for a great vacation. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful especially on the windy beach days. Great spot and hosts. Our only wish was to stay longer. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

Great place!
We had a great time staying at Zula Siesta! The house is super cute, clean, and very spacious! The pool was clean and worked perfectly, the auto door makes checking in and out a breeze, and the beds are SO comfortable. The place is located pretty central on the island so getting everywhere we wanted to go was easy.
The owners were so accommodating and readily available for any questions we had our entire stay. 110% recommend this spot for your stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location to beach, right up street. Great place to dine at The palms, right by boardwalk. The pool area is fantastic and really appreciated the use of beach chairs and wagon for beach. The home is well equipped and perfect location to head north a little and take your car on the beach which is great to get away from crowds! Great communication with owners!

This property met the needs of an extended family with grandparents, adult children, a grandchild, and three dogs. It was spacious, clean, and a wonderful place to stay for almost a week. Perfect house for our 2 families. There were eight of us with plenty of room for more. The outside pool area was awesome. We held bags tournaments at night, sat in spa and just hung out.
