Beautifully situated on the Laguna Madre, this newly updated ground-floor 2BR/2BA bayfront condo offers a picturesque home base for your South Padre vacation. Walk just half a mile to the beach, or take a dip in the shared complex pool. Enjoy fishing from the boat slips in the backyard, or simply take in the breathtaking views at sunset. An abundance of dining and shopping options are within easy walking distance.

LIVING AREA

Make some popcorn and watch a movie on the 50” flat-screen TV. A plush sofa and three chairs provide ample seating in the naturally-lit room. Large picture windows provide stunning views of the bay.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare tasty home-cooked meals and beach snacks in the modern kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, a wine fridge, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances.

When you’re not exploring nearby restaurants and sampling local cuisine, dine in at the wooden table with seating for six.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This condo sleeps up to six guests in the two bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area.

The tranquil master suite is furnished with a king bed and a 38” flat-screen TV. An en-suite master bathroom is outfitted with a walk-in shower.

A second bedroom holds a comfy queen bed, while the en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Dine alfresco with sweeping views of the bay on the covered patio with seating for four. Four additional plush seats provide the perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Enjoy fishing at any time from the private boat slips in the backyard, or cook out on the propane grill.

Guests will also enjoy complimentary access to a shared pool in the complex.

THE LOCATION

Enjoy sweeping views from your backyard at this bayfront retreat perched on the gorgeous Laguna Madre. Walk to the beach in just 8 minutes, or explore a plethora of restaurants, coffeehouses, and nightlife, all within minutes of home.

Stroll 14 minutes to rent bikes at Beach Bikes on Padre, or drive just 9 minutes north to the South Padre Island Farmers’ Market.

Enjoy a fun outing for the whole family at Schlitterbahn Water Park, just 8 minutes away by car. Or explore the island on horseback at the South Padre Island Adventure Park, only 9.5 miles north.

Things to Know:
This property is in a strict HOA presence. They require guests to be 25 years of age and must inhabit a rented unit. You are NOT allowed to have guests during Spring Break or Easter Holiday (Semana Santa). From Memorial Day to Labor Day all guests are required to purchase and wear a La Solana wristband for $5.00

Tournament Weekend

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in our rented condo while attending a fishing tournament because of its location, cleanliness and availability to fish. Restaurants and shops were only a few blocks away, everything was very clean that we felt safe of overall hygiene and the fishing pier and boat dock were right outside our porch.

Bayfront Paradise

This was a great place to stay on the island if you love waking up to the Laguna Madre bay and watching breathtaking sunsets each evening. The fishing out back was so much fun and the complex is very quaint and peaceful. Spacious condo with nice upgrades. Loved every minute of it!

Beautiful walkout view of the Bay

We stayed in this Condo unit to be close to friends we were visiting at La Solana in SPI. This is a ground floor unit with direct unobstructed view of the Bay. I loved sitting on patio and drinking my morning coffee with a beautiful view of the Bay not 10 feet away. Sliding glass doors provide easy access to the patio and views. The unit is updated with very nice finishes and the beds and furniture were all very clean and comfortable. All appliances are updated stainless and even comes with a beverage fridge. Nicely furnished kitchen with plenty of utensils, glasses, dishes and pots/pans. Stacking washer/dryer available in the unit for our use was also appreciated. Quiet location which was a plus for us, although within a 5 minutes walk to numerous restaurants. We loved The Painted Marlin Grille and grocery store is an easy 7 minute walk right down Red Snapper and the beach is just a little further down the street. All neighbors were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only request would be to stock more wash cloths and bigger towels in the unit. But certainly not a deal breaker for us. We will be returning again. Next time hopefully for a few weeks stay. *promo gift offered for a completed review.

Beautiful location

This is our second time staying at this property. It is very clean and very thought out as far as having everything you may possibly need for a pleasant stay. The place feels like home with a beautiful view of the bay area. You have your private patio area to enjoy gorgeous sunsets while grilling outside , fishing on the pier with code access , or simply having a glass of wine while enjoying the view. The property is well taken care of and we highly recommend it !

No attention to detail

First impressions mean a lot. When we first arrived to the property we were greeted by a dirty entry area with a dirty rug. Dirty rugs became a theme throughout the condo from the master bedroom to the back door. I believe nobody stayed at the property at least a few days prior to our visit and what should've happened was the cleaning crew coming over the day of our arrival and touching things up like a quick sweep of the entry and back patio. Both were filthy. As for the remainder of the condo, it felt like you were going to stay at a friends house not a rental property. The towels were old, and multi colored. I feel like towels in rentals should all be white like hotels so they can be bleached and cleaned to the extreme. Attention to detail is not a strength of the owner or cleaning company at this property. Under sinks were dirty and things just thrown under with no regard to organization. There's a "junk drawer" in the kitchen??? Master closet had several other things that don't belong in an condo you should want to feel like a hotel like old blankets and towels. Master bed sheets also had a couple brown stains. While the kitchen and bathrooms have some updates this place still feels like it needs a deep scrub. The grout in the kitchen is extremely dirty and the floors felt the same so we kept our shoes on inside. Another knock on the cleaning crew, the dining chairs were dirty as well with crusted food left behind on the padded chairs. While the location and views from this condo are great the back patio again was just dirty. One new dining set doesn't make up for the filthy old chairs in the sitting area. We were hoping for those to be a nice comfy spot to catch the sunset but no way were we going to sit on them. Communication with management was quick but not always effective as they offered to send someone out to clean but we weren't comfortable with having people come in given the current COVID conditions. Wifi info in the unit was all wrong as well as the gate code to the pier. We had to get that from a neighbor. Again, no attention to detail. This place has potential but there needs to be some attention to detail in the cleaning and appointments. Buy new towels, and get rid of the rugs. Make this place feel more like a hotel and not grandmas house.

Want to get away-SPI on the Bay

I cannot say enough about this condo. The location was excellent. First level, everything was a walk away. Pool, Jim's pier, restaurants, grocery store, and the fireworks where spectacular in the front lawn. It had it's own boat slip which helped to put our kayak and small long john boat. We fished all day and all night. We took our catch of the day to Jim's Pier and Armando and Gus cleaned our fishes for $3. Highly recommend. The only downside is you get 1 parking space and 1 visitor parking, but the visitor parking are limited spaces and it's on a 1st come first serve basis.

Great location and cozy place for family

Everything was great about the property with the exception that somebody tried to steal our ice chest outside and did take some shoes. Are checking process was not as expected according to the information given on the phone versus the email. We were trying to get an early check-in due to the email we got and we were told something different when we called. The place was super clean and very cozy

Fishing Fun!

This condo was so adorable with nice chic new furniture, dishes, and plates! BBQ grill made delicious fajita meats. We spent so many hours on the dock fishing. We caught tons of catfish, a drum fish, striped fish, short silver looking fish, a crab, a lion fish... Sea snails swam all around slowly and look so cool doing it. My aunt used a net and perfected catching the jumping little minnow fishes. We used them for bait right away. lol the guys lost plenty of shrimp, squid bait but we still kept fishing. The kids were catching stuff too from our family and others around. It was so exciting. I saw a kid catch a little sting ray!. At night we sat out there fishing and listening to the bar restaurants thumping music with bright lights. Good entertainment. The dock has two bright lights for fishing too.
