Welcome to the Paradise Lodge in beautiful Tahoe! This 2,888 square foot family-friendly cabin with sleeping for up to 13 guests (10 guests + a few extra children under 6 years old) is the perfect vacation rental for your next adventure. Packed with amenities and nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this three story home has plenty of room for your family or group of friends to relax and have fun.

Please note, this is a quiet neighborhood, no loud parties, no any noise outside after 10PM.

LIVING SPACES:
1. A loft space dedicated to children, equipped with toys and a smart TV that allows for movie-watching, YouTube browsing, or gaming (guests must bring their own game console).

2. The main floor features a full kitchen, a dining area, a spacious living room with ample seating, a gas fireplace, and a 65" 4K smart TV, making it the perfect setting for socializing while enjoying your favorite TV shows or movies.

3. The lower level is a great spot for entertainment with its selection of games for both adults and kids, as well as a 65" 4K smart TV that's ideal for sports or movies.

KITCHEN:
This vacation rental boasts a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a holiday feast! You'll find a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker. The kitchen is separated from the great room by a large breakfast bar island, making it the perfect space for gathering. The dining table has seating for 9, and there's additional seating available at the island, so there's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy a home-cooked meal together. Whether you're a foodie or just looking to cook up something quick and easy, this kitchen has got you covered!

4 total bedrooms, including a master suite:

This cozy rental property features two full bathrooms and one half bath, ensuring ample space for all guests to freshen up and relax. The master bathroom on the main level is a true oasis, complete with a double vanity, large glass shower with a rain shower, and a luxurious jetted soaking tub. Meanwhile, the hallway bathroom has its own jetted tub perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Whether you prefer a quick rinse or a long, leisurely soak, these bathrooms are sure to exceed your expectations.

BACKYARD:
The backyard is a great space for outdoor fun and relaxation. It features a large and fully fenced yard with a deck and patio table with seating for enjoying meals or drinks in the fresh air (please note that outdoor furniture is typically put away during the winter). The highlight of the backyard is definitely the hot tub, perfect for soaking and unwinding after a long day of adventure. For those who love to grill, there's a BBQ . Whether you're looking to lounge and soak up the sun or host a summer BBQ, this backyard has got you covered!

HOSPITALITY:
Hospitality is reflected in our home, and includes the following amenities:
* Clean, inspected, warm, accessible and staged home awaits
* Early Check-in / Late Checkout may be available for extra fee

* All sheets, towels, and bedding provided
* Soaps, lotion, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, and more provided

Guest access
Guests have complete access to the property, but for a locked owner closet.
Other things to note
* No more than 10 guests plus a few children under 6 years old (for a total of 13 guests) max, at any time.
* Noise must be respectful at all times, especially between the county's 10pm and 8am quiet period.
* The county doesn't allow hot tub use between 10pm and 8am.
* 4 cars max - No exception. No street parking per county ordinance - could result in towing and major fines.
* Please put trash in bear boxes only.
* Absolutely no fires of any sort are allowed on the property or in the Tahoe basin.
* Dogs are allowed, with prior permission and pet fee
* Surveillance: camera for monitoring the driveway and exterior of the home for safety and security purposes.
* NoiseAware sensor exists inside the home and outside patio to monitor decibel noise levels (nothing discernible) and help us and guests avoid fines for violating the local noise ordinances. Learn more about this system by visiting NoiseAware's website. Alerts may be sent to guests if noise reaches a certain level during the local vacation rental quiet hours, as a reminder of the local rules.

We expect all guests to be respectful, mature, and responsible. There is a zero tolerance policy abusive and negligent guests, loud groups, etc. If you want to squeeze 25 people into a house and party hard, this is not it. This is a tasteful, and well appointed home - please treat it as your own. This said, we are open to mature individuals who want to party but know how to treat other people and their things with respect.

Guests agree to comply with El Dorado County's Vacation Home Rental ordinances and our rental agreement (emailed separately), and failing to do so, or violation of home rules in the listing, may result in egregious penalties, and even eviction. This property has everything you need for a great trip. We visited during July 4th weekend, so we didnt want to be too close to all the lake traffic but not far either. This place was a perfect 12 minutes or so. We brought our dogs and the backyard has a high fence which is key. The dogs loved chasing the squirrels in the spacious yard which helped wear them out. Restaurants, taverns, golf courses, and plenty of hiking trails are dog friendly. The king bed we used was comfortable. The kitchen was a great size and we felt at home. We highly recommend this rental and the owner was very nice and responsive. At night with the fire pit on, see if you can spot the big foot in the tree. We thought it was a carving but it is an illusion and we got a kick out of it.

Great place, very clean and accommodate our group well. Plenty of towels and the basic necessities you'd expect. Comfortable beds too. Couple of small issues, ice maker wasn't working, which isn't a big deal if you know in advance vs finding out later into your first night in town. Filtered water didn't work, grill portion of oven didn't work, lights over the oven didn't work, fan over oven was hard to get working, but it did work. Never looking for perfection, just would be nice if the small things worked upon arrival. That said, I'd ask for them to be fixed next time and would stay again.

Because of my age and arthritis the stares took effort. But the house was perfect for our family. The home manager is very helpful and accessible. It is far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough for a short drive. Our grandchildren didn’t want to leave. It was a big part of our vacation

Our recent stay at the vacation home was quite enjoyable. The house itself was spacious and clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our family. Although the regular rooms were on the smaller side, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, which was especially important for a good night's sleep. While some of our older group members found the stairs to access the additional game room with the bunk beds challenging, the kids had no trouble navigating them. The family room area was a perfect space for games or simply hanging out, and the game area quickly became the favorite room for the kids. Although we didn't have the chance to utilize the jacuzzi or the grill due to other activities, they looked inviting. Moreover, I must commend the host for her outstanding hospitality. She responded promptly to any questions we had and was incredibly accommodating with our poodle puppy. Additionally, the availability of an EV charger was incredibly helpful and greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space for our mini vacation.
