Spacious and family friendly Yellow Bird sleeps 12 people. Large, Open Concept Kitchen, Living and Dining Areas.

Bedroom Layout.
First Floor sleeps 4: Twin Bedroom Sofa Sleeper in Sun Room.
Upper Level: Master Bedroom with King. 2 additional bedrooms sleeping 8 on this floor. Views of the Lake from many of the rooms.

Outside, revitalize on the large patio while listening to the relaxing sounds of waves from North Beach. With lots of outdoor furniture the patio is perfect for serving evening cocktails or al fresco dining.

Yellow Bird is located right around the corner from the Harbor Walk. What a charming place to sip morning coffee, read a good book or just watch the parade of boats sailing by. Our nightly ritual is walking to the beach to experience the amazing watercolor sunsets. Then take a leisurely stroll out the pier before returning to the beach house.

You will want to take the short stroll into Town along the River and across the Drawbridge Experience a day of unique shopping, wonderful restaurants and exploring our charming coastal town.

Perfect beach getaway

We had a wonderful time at Yellow Bird. The house had everything we needed for our extended family vacation. There were 11 of us in all and we all were very comfortable in the spacious home. The kitchen was well-equipped, the house clean, and there were plenty of places to sleep without feeling crowded. The best part of the home though is its location. We love North Beach and it's right there in the middle of it all. We could see the beach and sunset from the front porch and it took about 30 seconds to walk there. We would not hesitate to book again!

Great Location

The location is great -- only a three minute walk to the beach and five minutes to the ice cream stand. Yellow Bird generally worked well for our family of ten, with six adults, one teen and two children 9 & 11 -- especially for sleeping accommodations. With the exception of the shower off of the laundry room, the bathroom facilities were fine. The house was clean when we arrived. Communication from and with the host was excellent.

Awesome home!

Perfect family vacation! The property was perfectly located for access to the beach. Bedding was clean and all beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The only downside was that the floor downstairs could have been cleaner which we noticed due to kids running around barefoot. Otherwise, it was wonderful!

Perfect in every way!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Yellow Bird! One of the best vacation rentals I've ever experienced. Cleanliness is my #1, and this did not disappoint. It was spotless! Perfect combo of modern, while still keeping a little bit of the "lake cottage" feel. Our hostess was great. Every detail was considered, and we just loved everything about the house and South Haven. We had 9 people from 4 years to 50 years old and everything in between. Perfectly accommodated our large group (could have accommodated more people than we had). Plenty of space for us to all hang out, as well as privacy for everyone. The location is perfect, especially if you love the beach like we do. Short drive (or moderate walk) to the cute downtown for shopping & dining. 100% recommend!

Wonderful Home - Beautiful location

This is our second summer staying at the Yellow Bird. We are a family of 11 and we felt so fortunate to be able to book it again this year. It was a blessing during the pandemic. Thanks, Debbie! The new owners did a little redecorating. There are plenty of spaces for a large group to enjoy and spaces for quiet time to yourself. We love that big kitchen table that can seat a dozen close-knit folks. The kitchen is a nice size and allows for several cooks at one time. That second fridge is a bonus, too. Plenty of bathrooms, towels, hand towels. We watched the sun set every night. The gorgeous beach is about 50 yards away. We wished there were more forks and a couple of larger metal serving spoons and cups. The frying pan needs to be replaced.... Little things, but cooking together is a big deal for our family. It was very nice of our host to leave crayons, coloring books, and books for the little ones and cards for the grown ups and bigger kids. Debbie M. is so helpful. I'm very grateful.

Great Trip

We had an amazing stay at the Yellow Bird! The house was extremely clean, the proximity to the beach is perfect and Debbie was so easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing trip in South Haven! We will be back!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun!

We stayed at Yellow Bird Memorial Day weekend and had an amazing time! The location to the beach is absolutely perfect! We could walk over to watch the beautiful sunsets and spend the afternoons tanning and playing on the beach! We also were able to walk to great places for food and shopping. The house itself was better than the pictures- super clean and cute. The kitchen was gorgeous.! And the fireplaces were amazing for the chilly evenings. I would definitely stay here again.
