Showcasing amazing views overlooking the South Fork of the Rio Grande, this spacious gem boasts a scenic setting and an ideal location close to year-round recreation. The home's incredible outdoor space comes furnished for alfresco leisure, with highlights including a peaceful riverside gazebo, a wood-burning firepit, an expansive deck, a grill, and a bubbling private hot tub.

Strong natural light floods the interior, with cathedral-style ceilings and exposed beams creating an inviting space to gather in the great room. Comfortable seating, a smart TV, and a toasty wood stove provide the centerpiece for casual downtime. The impressive chef's kitchen is equipped to inspire gourmet creations with appliances including a Blue Star-brand six-burner range with a custom-log island and heated flooring. Additional perks include a 14-set boot and glove dryer for convenient winter gear storage.

Wolf Creek Ski Area is only 18 miles away. Convenient food and drink options can be found nearby in the town of South Fork. Tons of hiking trails and opportunities for fishing can be found within easy reach of home.

The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Our Stay

The cabin had lots of room and looked bigger than the pictures showed. It was equipped with everything we needed. I was amazed at how many towels were available so we didn't have to worry about running out. The kitchen had more pots, pans, utensils, dishes and everything you would need to cook with. We ran out of trash bags and had to go buy some. The reason I gave it a 4 for cleanliness is because the front porch needed cleaning to include the benches with cushions. They were really dirty. Also, the back windows looking out to the river were very dirty and needed a good cleaning to make the view more enjoyable. But, if this does not bother you then all would be good. My one suggestion would be to strip the wood island down and refinish the top. It had a "sticky" feeling to it like it needed a good cleaning or refinishing. The refrigerator door didn't always close all the way but I made sure everyone knew to really push it shut. If you have children, they may not always check this. Also, we could never find the light switch to turn off the patio light outside the master bedroom. If you stay, you may want to ask about this. None of these would get in the way of us staying again. I just wanted to mention it. Overall, It was a great trip and we will be returning.

We loved our stay. Beautiful cabin. Plenty of room and spacious. The ombiance and location is great. Kids had a great time. Plenty of amenities. Jacuzzi was relaxing. Caught some nice big brown trout. Couldnt have asked for more!

The pictures of the exterior of the property are extremely inaccurate!! When arrived there was an old pick up with a flat tire, old building materials stacked in the yard, the grage dooris broken an cannot be shut. The interior of the property is beautiful and the cleaning lady had done a good job. However the kitchen is in extreme disrepair. The oven door won't shut, and tserveral cabinets are broken. The back yard of the property is beautiful but we had to borrow a lawn mower because it was very over grown where you access the river. This is a beautiful home but it needs some serious attention!!

Great Weekend

This property did not disappoint. A few minor issues that were a little inconvient, but overall a great property. Plenty of hot water that had apparently been issues for previous guests and the location was amazing. Plenty of room both inside as well as outside. Thanks so much!

Great location

Overall the cabin was nice. We had plenty of room for 4 teenage boys, 2 teenage girls and 2 adults. The kitchen was fantastic. We cooked breakfast and dinner every day and the kitchen was stocked with every pot/pan/utensil we needed. The back patio was very nice. Two grills, one green egg grill, gas fire pit, seating, and hot tub. We did spend a lot of time out there. The washer worked but the dryer did not. We did turn in ticket for it to be fixed and hopefully they will be able to fix it before the next people stay there. The front door did not latch and we had to keep it lock in order to keep the front door from swinging open. The upper dishwasher arm was broken and we turned in a ticket for it as well. There is a binder with information in it and local phone number . I texted the number each day asking about the dryer and heat of the water. After the 3rd day, the person finally responded by saying they were no longer in charge of the property and that I needed to contact Vasca. I did let Vasca know about the number in the binder too. The cabin needs a few things fixed but overall a nice place. We would stay here again.
