    Sauble Beach (pop 2000) est une communauté de plage et une zone non constituée en société dans la ville de South Bruce Peninsula, dans le comté de Bruce, dans le nord du sud-ouest de l'Ontario, au Canada. C'est sur la péninsule Bruce, le long de la rive est du lac Huron, à la limite nord de la Nation Saugeen. La plage tire son nom de celui donné par les premiers explorateurs français à la rivière de sable Sauble, à l'origine "La Rivière Au Sable" (rivière au sable) indiquant également que la rivière s'est vidée dans le lac Huron à une plage de sable. La rivière a été étiqueté avec le nom français sur les cartes jusqu'en 1881, quand il est devenu la rivière Sauble; dans les premières années, une scierie a été construite sur la rivière, et plus tard, une centrale hydroélectrique.

Great location roughly 4 min walk to the beach. Clean cottage with enough room for 6 people comfortably. Nicely appointed. Host was responsive and helpful. All around a great experience!

The house was perfect for our family. Just as described with a well supplied kitchen. The location is perfect with a pleasant walk to the beach to enjoy sunsets and swimming. It's an easy driving distance to local shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We appreciated having the washer and dryer.

Communication was quick and comprehensive. The shower head was broken for the first two days, which the renter was forthcoming about and efficient in coordinating a fix. Property was sufficient for what we needed. Blackout blinds would be nice for people staying with little kids.

My friends and I stayed here for a relaxing short vacation. It is less than a 5 minute walk away from the beach, and about 20 minute walk away from the main shopping area with restaurants. The cottage had comfortable couches and beds and was lovely to stay in.

The place was great. Had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. About a 15-20 minute walk to Main Street, which was fine for us but might be a bit far for some people.

Winter Getaway

The updates to the cottage are great. It is very clean and Murray was readily available, if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our winter weekend there and hope to come back soon!

Fantastic Accommodations at Sauble Beach

We loved our 2-night stay in this cozy place, nestled among the trees, which provided some privacy when sitting/eating outside. The owner's pictures and description was accurate, and we were more than happy with our stay. It's pretty close to main street, and it's a very short walk to the beach. Would highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay in Sauble!

This was the perfect property for our family - incredibly well-appointed, lovely decor, so comfortable, and the amenities were great and much appreciated! Lovely inside and outdoor space for BBQs, campfires, and just lounging in the sun. A close enough walk to the action downtown (15-20 min) and 5 min to the beachfront nearest the property. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful gem, and look forward to staying here again!

Much needed family getaway

Just needed some R and R and quality time together . This was the spot!!! Great location - we hiked, walked to town and shopped, and beached it too ! Everything very close by . The place itself is perfect ! Firepit, bbq, and all ! We’ll be back :)) Thanks Murray !

Perfect Thanksgiving Weekend

My two university aged children and I stayed here over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend while visiting with family. The cottage is spotless, well-equipped and exactly as you would imagine from the listing. The host is prompt with communication and helpful. Definitely will return next year.

So tranquil.

Was a great spot far enough from the party crowd but close enough to get to the main area on foot ( for us). Well equipped because we like eating in most nights and in the off season not all restaurants are open on weekdays. Short walk to the beach. Enjoyed a couple of bonfires. It was as advertised and more. Hope to stay again.

Cottage was lovely, comfortable, great location & proximity to Beach. However I feel more amenities should have been provided for the cost paid, ie, fresh water in the unit already there, tin foil etc we didn’t realise we needed to buy; we ran out of toilet paper & also had to purchase; BBQ gas had been shut off when we’d been advised it was always on…took a bit to figure out; the TV/Stereo system was a challenge to operate with soo many remotes! The Denon remote batteries were dead; no mention of replacements; a bundle of complimentary firewood would have been a nice touch! I brought my own drip coffee maker as Kuerig does NOT make quality coffee, especially when on vacation when one wants excellent coffee in the morning! The Front door combo lock was unreliable..it sometimes worked & sometimes didn’t…again perhaps a battery problem owner should be ensuring is functioning properly. These are all attention to detail items that owner/cleaners should ensure are ready for each paying guest making their experience memorable as opposed to unexpectedly running to store/inconvenienced/wasting precious time when only staying a couple days! The instructions/rules/laws were overemphasised & duplicated on different emails/VRBO App etc.which was confusing to find a quick answer/solution without bothering owner multiple times.Overall we enjoyed our stay. I trust my feedback is appreciated to improve upon fine details making paying guests experience more satisfying & come back again!

Renovated cottage

Beautifully renovated cottage by the owner. He even has a photo of the cottage pre renovation to prove it! It has every modern convenience one could want: AC, wifi, washer-dryer, multiple device charging ports in every bedroom, handheld shower, barbecue, multiple tv services, ceiling fans in every room in addition to the central AC, rechargeable vacuum, swiffer wet mops, and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances from well known manufacturers. He provides all the bed linens, pillows and more. It really does look like the photos on line. The only hiccup is the lack of potable water but once again, the owner provides a large capacity water cooler (19 L). A very short walk to the beach - really terrific location. The landlord provided detailed information to us in writing prior to our arrival, which was clear and very helpful. He was very quick to respond to all our queries and communications. Thank you Murray!
