The Cozy Canopy

Located on the border of South Bend and New Carlisle, The Cozy Canopy is a handmade treehouse retreat, perfect for unplugging. Nestled in the trees and surrounded by nature, it’s ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers looking to recharge. Enjoy peaceful mornings, evenings by the fire pit, and exploring the property’s walking trails.


The property:

The treehouse is accessed by a private outdoor staircase.


Bathroom & water setup:

We use a camping-style toilet located inside the treehouse for guest convenience, along with a foot-pump sink for handwashing. Everything is explained clearly in our printed guidebook, so you'll feel confident and comfortable during your stay.


Outdoor amenities:

The surrounding property offers plenty of ways to unwind outdoors. You’ll have access to your own private fire pit with seating, walking trails through the woods, and a peaceful area for outdoor dining or relaxing. Two hammocks hang nearby for a lazy afternoon nap or a moment with a good book. Beneath the treehouse, you might spot our friendly chickens in their coop. We also provide yard games like giant dice and bocce ball for extra fun.

Things to note:

For the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow pets or smoking anywhere on the property. The treehouse is not wheelchair accessible due to outdoor stair access. Quiet hours begin at 11 PM to help preserve the peaceful environment.
