THE LOCATION:

Wooded Estates is one of South Bend’s most sought-after neighborhoods—an easy, scenic walk to campus, making game days and campus visits incredibly convenient. The Compton Family Ice Arena and the Joyce Center are roughly 10 minutes on foot. Notre Dame Stadium is approximately a 20-minute walk. Eddy Street Commons, Martin's Supermarket on State Road 23, The LineBacker, and Starbucks are all within a 1–5 minute drive. You're in the middle of everything, in a quiet and private residential setting.

THE BACKYARD PARADISE:

The backyard is the headline! String lights run the full length of the fence perimeter, plugging into one point to light the entire yard at once. A paver patio with an 8-person square dining table and 9-foot umbrella anchors one end. A stainless steel Weber gas grill sits ready with propane and a backup tank.

From the patio, a custom curved stone walkway leads to the centerpiece: a 20-foot diameter circular fire pit with a red brick border and white marble river rock interior, surrounded by 8 all-weather Adirondack chairs, an overflow bench, and side tables positioned everywhere — for drinks, for s'mores supplies, for whatever's in your hand. Gather the whole group. Light the fire. Roast s'mores while the kids take turns on the hoop.

The custom GoRilla basketball court features an adjustable hoop that goes from 6 feet (for the little ones) to regulation 10 feet (for anyone still chasing their dunking glory days). The all-weather specialty court surface is lighted for evening play. A ball-containment net keeps everything in bounds. Multiple basketballs are provided in men's, women's, and kids' sizes. An air pump with needle lives in the kitchen — because we thought of that too.

The entire yard is fully fenced with a gated entrance. Plenty of grass for your dogs to run while you enjoy every corner of this backyard. It is a large, private, beautifully landscaped space — and it's yours during your stay.

PET-FRIENDLY DETAILS:

Up to 2 dogs welcome — no weight limit. No cats, please. The fully fenced yard has a gated side entrance so your pets can roam freely without worry — grass, basketball court, fire pit, and dining patio all coexist in one generous space. We provide a poop scooper — please clean up after your pets. Bring your own food bowls, crate, or anything your dog needs. One pet fee applies, included in your booking details.

THE LIVING SPACES:

Renovated in 2024. The kitchen features a gas range, high-end appliances, and cabinetry — and it's fully stocked like a real home, not a hotel kit. Full sets of pots and pans, coffee maker with coffee beans, grounds, sugar, and creamers provided, complete dishware and cutlery for well beyond your group, a 4-slot toaster, blender, baking dishes, serving trays, olive oil, salt, pepper, spices. Foil, saran wrap, entertaining bowls — it's all here. We provide dishwasher pods and a fresh sponge. This is a kitchen you can actually cook in.

The lower level is its own world: a wet bar, foosball table, a large dining table, a massive sectional, a mounted 65" TV, and a king bedroom. A high-end Electrolux washer and dryer are tucked into a closet in the lower level. The lower-level bathroom is a showstopper — a standalone clawfoot bathtub, a separate walk-in shower, and a marble vanity and sink in a beautifully spacious room.

THE BEDROOMS:

Every room has luggage racks, hooks on doors, clothes hamper, closet with hangers, full-size mirror, and individual makeup mirror. Both sides of every bed have lamps with built-in chargers. We think of everything so you don't have to including a Pack and Play travel crib (sheets not included) and air mattresses with extra blankets and sheets.

PARKING:

5–6 vehicles in the driveway and side yard. No game day parking restrictions — a meaningful advantage given that many properties and streets in the surrounding area prohibit street parking on Notre Dame football Saturdays.

LAUNDRY:

Full laundry supplies: detergent, bleach, stain remover, dryer sheets. Ironing board, iron, and handheld steamer available.
