« The view is priceless! The place while not huge, fit our family of 5. The pool is really special, especially on hot days. This very unique place includes stars you'd never see in a city, access to near-private waterfalls, and beautiful nature paths. However, we made the mistake of not renting (you have to have a private car to enter the gated community) a 4-wheel drive vehicle. This place NEEDS one even to just get up the driveway. « The property was spacious and beautiful with a great view. The only thing about the location was lack of dining options near by. Had we realized that we would have come prepared with more food. But we loved the place anyway and we were only there one night. »

« Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car.
