Welcome to the Sonoma Moon Mountain Family Retreat located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. Enjoy incredible views and sunsets from the poolside cabana. Outdoor features include a large pool, hot tub, fire pit near the pool, and an outdoor kitchen in the gorgeous cabana.

This 4-bedroom estate can accommodate up to 10 guests and has 2 full bathrooms in the main house. We also have a 1-bedroom casita with a queen bed and 2 twin beds, and a half bathroom.

A beautiful back patio with alfresco outdoor dining, a tree swing, trampoline, and gardens surrounds the entire property. Centrally located to all of the best wine regions, Sonoma, Napa, Kenwood, Calistoga, and Russian River are all just a short drive away. Enjoy a truly peaceful luxury experience at this beautiful wine country retreat.

**At certain times of the year, the house is priced at a slightly lower nightly rate to allow smaller families to enjoy the property. In these cases, the price of the nightly rate will increase slightly as more family members join, and the Casita will open up accordingly. Please ask if you have any questions.**
***This Casita is automatically included when booked for 8 or more guests or by advanced request (72 hours in advance) for smaller groups. In most cases, there will be a small cleaning fee of $75 added to your reservation.**

*There is a 3-night weekend minimum stay required in Spring and Summer months.
*There are absolutely no weddings/events/parties allowed.
*Sonoma County quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM (which is strictly enforced).
*No music is allowed outdoors - this is a Sonoma County rule for all vacation rentals.
*10 guests maximum allowed at all times.
*4 cars maximum allowed at all times.
*The pool can be heated for a small fee (in the middle of winter, sometimes the outside temperature won`t allow for the pool to be heated to the desired temperature - if asked, we will let you know prior to booking if this is the case). Heating requests must be made and paid for a minimum of 72 hours prior to arrival to ensure the pool will be at the correct temperature by your arrival.
*The property does have outdoor cameras that monitor the fire pit at the pool and the parking area.
*Sorry, no pets allowed. Depending on your sensitivity, the owner does have a hypoallergenic dog which occasionally visits the property.
*Because of the fire danger, we do not allow fires on the property at any point in time - the one exception is the gas fire pit in the pool area, which can be used at any point.
Arrival & Departure Times
You may arrive starting at 4:00pm on the arrival date and you must depart by 10:00am on the departure date. Early arrival and late departure times are possible by prior arrangement, but can only be confirmed several days before the arrival date, since they are dependent on the schedules of other guests. Late departure without prior approval will trigger a fee of $150/hour of over-time stay.

Allowed Uses
Use of the premises is limited to overnight lodging and related residential activity. The following uses are explicitly PROHIBITED without prior written consent from the owner/owners representative; commercial activities, catered meals, parties, group gatherings, and wedding related events. You agree not to use the property for any immoral, offensive or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law, ordinance, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the property. If further clarification is needed, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance. Failure to comply with Allowed Uses will be considered a Default of your responsibilities and obligations under this agreement (see Default below).

Pool/Hot Tub/Spa
For properties with a pool, hot tub or spa all liability regarding primary renter, their dependents, daily guests and pets is assumed by primary renter. No lifeguard is on duty and all uses of the pool / hot tub / spa must be closely monitored. Heating the pool is offered as an additional service. Heating charges vary depending upon the property and time of the year. Please request heating in writing with Sonoma Valley Escapes, or purchase online when booking directly through our site. Guests can make a request that the manager of the property turn off the heater during their stay. We will turn off within 24 hours of the request, and the daily rate will cease the day it is turned off, not day end of service is requested. Once heater is turned off, it will not be turned back on during the stay.

Maximum Number of Occupants (per unit)
Overnight occupancy shall not exceed the number of people specified on your rental confirmation. Total occupancy at any time shall not exceed the number of overnight guests specified on your rental confirmation. Failure to comply with Maximum Number of Occupants will be considered a Default of your responsibilities and obligations under this agreement (see Default below).

Noise Ordinance
Use of outdoor areas is prohibited during night time hours, defined in local Noise Ordinance(s) as i) 9:00 pm and 7:00 am Sunday through Thursday and ii) 10:00 pm and 7:00 am on Friday and Saturday. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited. Failure to comply with Noise Ordinance will be considered a Default of your responsibilities and obligations under this agreement (see Default below).

Property Damage and Loss
Property damage and/or loss caused by you and/or your guests, including but not limited to extra-ordinary cleaning or damage to property, fixtures, appliances, linens or furnishings, shall be your financial responsibility in the event that your Rental Guardian damage insurance policy does not cover it. You shall be fully responsible for any damage to the premises in excess of the RentalGuardian Damage Insurance policy, plus reasonable costs of collection, including reasonable attorneys` fees, if necessary.

Pets
Guests are not allowed to bring pets onto the premises unless prior arrangement is made. All approved pets are subject to a $45/day fee and a collection of an additional $1000 Security Deposit. This Deposit is refundable in the event that there is no damage caused by the pet. Failure to comply will result in possible early end to your stay, or a $150/day charge. Service Animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are welcome. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a Service Animal onto the property.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the house or near doors where smoke could enter the house. Failure to comply will result in automatic and total forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Children
Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. You acknowledge that children are the direct responsibility of you as well as their parents or caretakers. Children are NEVER TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED at the property, whether in the house or outdoors. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE ARE APPLIANCES, STAIRS, DECKS, LANDSCAPING AND OTHER AMENITIES AND OUTDOOR ELEMENTS THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS TO CHILDREN AND OTHERS. You also acknowledge and accept that there will be no supervision on the premises during your stay, and we will not be responsible for supervising the use of any of the facilities by either adults or children. You and all of your guests undertake all use of the property at your own risk.

Owner Responsibilities
The Property is provided in as is condition. The Owners will bear the cost of all reasonable utilities, reasonable trash removal, local telephone service, Internet wifi, cable TV and the use of all personal property made available to renters, including kitchen equipment, dishes, linens, outdoor furniture, and outdoor grill if provided. We will take normal measures to ensure that house and outdoor equipment is in reasonable working order. We will provide normal maid service at our expense after your departure. Owner/owners representative will make reasonable efforts to ensure the operation of all amenities in the property, such as Internet and television equipment are functioning. Owner/owners representative shall not be held responsible for such items failure to work, but will make a reasonable effort to correct any issues as reported as quickly as possible. You acknowledge that use of amenities such as appliances, barbecue, decks, and the like may be potentially dangerous and involve potential risks if improperly used, particularly with regard to children and such use is at your own risk.

Owner/Owner Representative Access
Owner/owners representative reserves the right to enter the property at reasonable times and with reasonable advance notice for the purposes of inspecting the property or to make repairs. If owner/owners representative has a reasonable belief that there is imminent danger to any person or property, owner/owners representative may enter the Property without advance notice.

Check-out Procedures
Upon departure, you agree to clean and to follow the check-out procedures, as specified in the Renter`s Manual provided to you at check-in, including to and without limitation: cleaning the outdoor grill, if used, washing dirty dishes, cookware, and utensils, and then returning to their cabinets, placing the garbage in the outdoor trash cans, and locking all windows / doors and closing all gates. You agree to report any damages or loss of property to owner/owner`s representative.

Our first girls' trip ever, and this home did not disappoint. We are seven high school classmates, and after 20 years finally took a trip together. The home was perfect, extremely clean, well-stocked, and the beds were SO comfy! The landscaping was immaculate and we definitely took advantage of having a hot tub. The property manager was very communicative and quick to respond to my questions. Highly recommend!

Our stay was beautiful. We have a few suggestions for future guests:-longer shower curtain in the shared bathroom in the long hall. We found it very difficult to not get a huge puddle of water on the floor after showering. -the rug in the kitchen is a severe tripping hazard. The tape was not holding it down and it always curled up. -info of all breaker boxes in binder. We blew a fuse and searched for the sub-box for 30 minutes. Overall, the place is beautiful and we really enjoy our stay. Loved the pool area and spacious rooms. The Calista was a special bonus.

The house is beyond what the pictures show. Stunning property. The house was one of the best stocked VRBO houses we have stayed in. Plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware, spices, etc. for our use. The pool/hot tub area was spectacular. The only negative would be the road noise. I would highly, highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a Wine Country stay.

We are a group of 10 moms who treat ourselves to a weekend away in Sonoma every year. Our stay at this property was heavenly. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. The location was gorgeous - we enjoyed the property so much that we literally cancelled all our plans because we wanted to enjoy the beautiful house and pool - we couldn't tear ourselves away! The beds were comfy, the showers were great, the pool was perfectly heated - the house was comfortable. Highly Recommend this property!

We went for a girls trip with 9 adult females. Great location in proximity to wineries, a beautiful landscaped property (pool, hot tub, fire pit, trampoline, basketball hoop). Our family of 10 included 4 little ones 7, 6, 4 and 1.5. Perfect for all. Amazing property with enough to do for the kids and quiet spots for the adults to take a break. Something for everyone. Spotless, great communication with the manager and close to Kenwood, Sonoma, or just stay on the the beautiful property with views of vineyards. Highly recommend for families or just for adults. Great room layouts.

Stunning and stylish home with gorgeous yard and private pool.

This spacious house was the ideal spot for a ladies weekend getaway with 7 of my friends. From the minute we arrived, we were impressed. The house was beautifully decorated with a rustic-chic wine country vibe that was comfortable and inviting. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed with quality appliances, plenty of counter space and a generous coffee & tea offering. The bedrooms provided ample space and comfy bedding, it was wonderful to have so many separate sleeping areas that offered a little privacy. There was even a cozy casita separate from the main house. All of the bathrooms were well-stocked and immaculate. 
 We were a bit unlucky with the weather and despite the rain, we were drawn to the outdoor space. We enjoyed morning coffee on the back patio while taking in the stunning yard and creek. We spent time under the covered deck at the pool, relaxing to the sounds of the fountains and appreciating the fire pit patio table. The location was another positive. We were just a short drive to Sonoma Square’s many shops and restaurants. The house was so perfect for our group that we spent most of our time there. We remarked on how it would be a great to come back with our families and even share with a couple of families. There are so many ways to keep everyone entertained — a pool/hot tub, a trampoline, a fun tree swing and various indoor and outdoor games to play. This is an amazing place for a wine country escape, we will most definitely be back!

Stayed for a weekend with 4 other couples for a birthday trip to wine country and wish we could have stayed longer! Property is gorgeous inside and out. Feels like a high-end hotel. Best rental I have ever stayed at!

This home was perfect for our group of six moms looking for a relaxing getaway in wine country. Great location, amazing views, very clean, and most importantly to me, very comfortable beds, and nice bedding. The grounds and pool are beautiful and the home is laid out very nicely with plenty of room to spread out. We had a private chef cook for us and he commented on how well the kitchen was stocked with cookware and serveware, which he doesn’t always find out rentals. The management was responsive and helpful to our questions as well. Highly recommend.
