« The property was lovely, very clean, well-equipped and in a very good location. It was quiet and peaceful, but close to the estate facilities including the excellent pool complex and the bar/restaurant. Catherine, the owner, was very helpful and went beyond our expectations to resolve the one issue that we had while we were there. « We travelled from the US to visit with family and friends and we were pleased to learn of all the amenities that come with this property. We were able to rent bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and tennis rackets. The lake view from the back of the property was lovely. »

« We stayed for our wedding weekend, it was just what we wanted, although the weather wasn’t great for the weekend we still had a great time, watching the rain dance on the lake and nice chilled days in the swimming pool and spa. We have stayed in the Lower Mill Estate before so knew what to expect, and we always love it! »

« Our Accomodation met all our needs. The kitchen was a little small but adequate. We loved being able to paddle board from the rear of our Accomodation. We did get stuck in the reeds though. Perhaps they need a little trim. The outdoor pool was heated so the kids were happy to splash around before dinner. We didn’t use the Spa. We did a couple of walks around the village and a little bit of nature spotting. I think it would be a good idea to create a larger adventure play area for the 10+...

« Stunning lodge in the most beautiful setting. This was our third visit to Lower Mill Estate. Coot Lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroom lodge - with double height living accommodation, huge decked area, with bbq. It’s close proximity to the spa and pool made it super easy to walk to. Lots of towels and clean bedding. We were spoilt for board Games. The property is so lovely that we didn’t really want to leave to go anywhere! We would highly recommend and would book to visit again. »

« We came from Canada to visit family and this was the ideal place! Charming, warm, well-equipped cottage with comfy beds and lots of room to entertain. We could invite family and friends over to the restaurant, or get wonderful frozen dishes at the resort store, plus wine and ice cream. Everywhere was level and paved so our less mobile visitors were able to join us on walks. »
