NOUVELLE MAISON EN PIERRE RENOVEE-ESPRIT DALMITE + PISCINE, 2 VOITURES INCLUS

Upper Village est une petite oasis de paix pittoresque, un vieux village en pierre, situé sur les pentes sud de l'île de Solta, dont les habitants sont des oléiculteurs traditionnels. Maison en pierre récemment rénovée et luxueusement équipée, harmonisée dans l'ambiance du lieu et offrant un esprit authentique de la Dalmatie. Il est spacieux et offre un hébergement suffisant pour les grandes familles ou les amis. Chaque chambre est climatisée. La maison est équipée d'une télévision LCD, d'un système de barre de son sans fil et d'un réseau Wi-Fi. Dans la terrasse dalmate d'origine avec un jardin méditerranéen, en toute intimité, vous pourrez profiter de sa vie sociale intacte avec une vue magnifique sur les îles dalmates centrales de Brac, Hvar et Vis. Il a sa propre piscine privée de 10m x 4m avec salle de bain extérieure. Le parking est situé à côté de la maison. Un trajet de 3 minutes vous permettra d'atteindre les plages de galets les plus proches situées à Stomorska ou un certain nombre de plages naturelles de la côte sud de l'île. Inclus dans le prix à disposition, vous avez la voiture Jeep avec transmission automatique et Ranger avec 5 sièges. 2 très bons vélos. À une distance de 50 m de la maison se trouve l'un des plus anciens restaurants de l'île.

Solta "L'île oubliée"

La maison est vraiment géniale, perchée dans un petit village typique à 5 minutes de la mer. On a particulièrement apprécié : le silence, la piscine au réveil, les criques désertes accessibles avec les 4x4 mis a disposition par les propriétaires. Le barbecue géant, la charcuterie locale. En plein mois d'aout, il n'y avait que très peu de touristes à Solta. Je conseille a tout ceux qui cherchent tranquillité et sérénité. Merci Miranda pour votre accueil, pour votre gentillesse et pour votre belle maison ! Nous reviendrons à Solta !

We, as a family with small children and grandparents (a total of eight people), had a wonderful stay at Miranda’s estate. The house, the rooms, the outdoor area with dining space and lounge, as well as the pool, are all absolutely delightful! The furnishings are very high-end and luxurious, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped to prepare even elaborate meals. As a special extra, there is a built-in stone grill where you can even cook a Peka over an open fire. Every second spent at the estate was pure enjoyment!If you do want to venture out and drive to a beach on the island, the two cars provided (a pick-up and a Fiat 500) are very practical, and also help preserve your own vehicles.We can only warmly recommend this accommodation to everyone!

This property is simply outstanding. Everything has been done with care. The house has four very good bedrooms each with an excellent en suite bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked and we coud easily handkerchief meals for 11 people. Miranda added sone beds to the rooms to provide the extra space we needed. The outdoor space is extraordinary. The pool is excellent and a good size. The entire outdoor area is setup with beautiful gardening and various different spaces to sit. There is a large outdoor table where we ate most meals. Slow living at its best

We stayed there for 9 nights. The house had a higher standard than we anticipated. All the rooms had air condition, good beds and bathroom, and the standard was high. The house had everything we needed.The pool, outdoor area was perfect for two families with kids to enjoy a week of slow living. Solta also offers small coast cities with really good food, and beaches.We did a boat trip around the island, highly recommended.The host was very quick to answer and fixed transport for us from the ferry. Amazing house for family holiday

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this amazing villa and can’t wait to return again. Šolta is a lovely, quiet island compared to the busier, more touristy ones. The villa is absolutely perfect for a family holiday with 4 en-suite bedrooms, a large pool and great bbq. The two cars included are also a huge benefit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and Miranda is the perfect host.

Beautiful Solta

We have just had the most fantastic week in this beautiful house. It is even better than the pictures. There is so much space outside and it is very beautifully considered with lots of shade and seating places. We were two families with 5 children and plenty of room. The cars are a real bonus as we visited a new cove every day (we recommend Stracinska, Senjska and Stomorska). The restaurant in the village was great and very tasty and nothing was far away from Gornji Selo. The island is so much quieter than its neighbours so we felt very relaxed. Perfect. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t already on the house. Bring insect repellents as quite a few mosquitos. Miranda is a wonderful host and was quick to fix any small problems. We would return in a flash. Excellent.

Truly spectacular house

What a house. We've stayed in many holiday homes over the years with friends and family, but have never encountered such a beautiful, tastefully renovated home. Everything is done to a very high standard. Our children loved hanging out by the stunning pool, and walking into the village in the cooler evenings to play football in the public square. We used the cars that came with the house to visit the coves and villages by the sea, which were short drives away. Miranda and Marjo were incredibly responsive hosts, answering our numerous questions almost instantly and going out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend this home!

The perfect family getaway!

The house was beautifully set up with on-suites in all of the bedrooms and a kitchen that made cooking for the family a breeze. The magic of this house is the outdoor space. Beautiful gardens surrounding the property made outdoor relaxing a must. The pool was the perfect place to end our hot days exploring the island…truthfully, the kids really didn’t want to leave this pool. There is a charcoal grill with all of the necessary equipment, tons of outdoor seating, tables and lounge chairs that make relaxing easy, if not mandatory. Miranda was the perfect host. Fast with an answer to any question, and was always available to solve our minor problems (like getting too friendly with the sea urchins I felt it necessary to introduce myself to). I highly recommend the house….urchin petting, not so much! Thank you, Miranda!

Exceeded all expectations

My family and I stayed at this property at the end of August- group of 6 adults and 2 children. The property absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is a beautifully finished, modern house with 4 spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite. The swimming pool was amazing and the outdoor bbq and dining areas were well used by us. Miranda was very responsive in the lead up to our arrival, answering all of our questions promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional village the house is located in, and the 2 cars included in the property made it very easy for us to explore šolta island. This was our first time visiting šolta and we loved every minute of it. Miranda and her husband gave us some great recommendations. The island was very easy to get around and is a lovely balance of quiet relaxation and some more vibey beaches/ restaurants. Be sure to visit Visko and his wife at Kastelenac winery within about a 10minute walk from this house. We had the best family holiday which was made exceptional by this beautiful house and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Miranda!

A classy stay on Solta

We really struggled to find a villa that had a nice pool, was accessible to beach and was well equipped for our friends family of 8 on the islands. After weeks of hunting, we came across this little gem. An absolutely beautiful villa, fantastic pool (we were swimming lengths every day) and lovely interior in a tiny village on a hill in Solta. You can walk to the local restaurant and supermarket. The villa has bikes which you can use and best of all it comes with two cars for you to get around in because you do really have to drive or bike to the local coves and beaches. Although, the sun beds around the pool were so comfy we found it hard to leave. The outdoor bbq was fantastic and the boys all enjoyed using the smart TV to watch the footy (even though in Croatian!). I think you’ll struggle to find a better value, clean, quite and beautiful villa. The hosts were absolutely lovely and picked us up from the port so we didn’t have to get a taxi. Just a big thank you all round for a lovely holiday.

Fabulous place on a beautiful island!

We stayed at Miranda's house (family of four with grandparents) for the first two weeks of August and loved it! The house has is well equipped and pristinely clean. There are various seating areas dotted around the villa and pool and it's well suited for alfresco dining with a great bbq area. Having access to the two 4WD vehicles and bikes was a real bonus as some of the more beautiful beaches are located down unmade roads. The house is a short drive from Stomorska, which, having visited lots of places on the island, was one of our favourites. Really pretty with lots of casual dining options overlooking the sea. Miranda was extremely helpful and provided some top tips on places to visit on the island - including boat hire. We can't recommend this villa more and will certainly be returning to it at some point in the future.

Perfect Island Getaway

This is a stand-out property. Owner Miranda was fantastic to deal with and provided us with welcome wine, beer, olive oil, and more to get us started. The property is completely private with a separate pool area and different outside lounge spots, a shaded outdoor dining room area, and more. The house is completely renovated and wonderfully appointed with 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom/shower. A major bonus is that the house comes with two cars - we had two 4x4 vehicles a truck and a jeep which were perfect for getting down to various beaches that are only accessible by dirt roads. The house is located in a small village that has a restaurant - 2 blocks away and also a local winery that is also walking distance along with a small grocery store. Miranda also put us in touch with boat captain Nikolina for a full-day boat trip going around the island to swim, snorkel, cliff jump, etc that was reasonably priced. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor built-in barbecue area is stocked with wood for grilling or even making your own Croatian Peka. Solta was definitely our favorite island - not too touristy or crowded, charming port towns with restaurants, lots of swimming coves and pebble beaches. And it is a fast catamaran ride back to Split if you want to go into the city for a day and also for getting back to the mainland. A great place we hope to come visit again soon.

Superschönes Haus mit großem Pool

Das Haus war wunderschön, insbesondere auch der Garten und der Pool. Man war ganz für sich und hatte viel Platz. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit und hat wirklich an alles gedacht (egal ob Waschpulver, Salz, Kaffeefilter, Eiswürfeltüten, es war wirklich alles vorhanden)!

Superb property

This holiday was booked to celebrate some milestone birthdays within the family, but for many weeks prior to travelling to Croatia we were doubtful that it would proceed due to Covid-19 restrictions. Therefore when we arrived at the house we were thrilled with the exceptional quality of the accommodation and facilities provided, which were perfect for the whole family. The pool is an ideal size and we enjoyed using the timber fired outside oven following the instructions from Miranda and using some vegetables from the garden. Although our travelling arrangements were complicated with various members of the family travelling from different airports at different times, Miranda made this easy for us by booking taxis etc. She was also very helpful with queries or information about the island and nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. Overall a wonderful holiday which we will fondly remember for a long time.

Fantastic Villa and a Wonderful Host

This was quite a daunting trip with 3 young children but Miranda made the whole journey very simple. She arranged a taxi from the airport and met us at the ferry in Solta and was very accommodating (she picked us up early and took our bags while the villa was being cleaned). The villa is perfect, plenty of room in the bedrooms, a very usable kitchen and a cosy living and dining area. Every bedroom had an ensuite but the real jewel is the outside of the property. The swimming pool is lovely and has shower / toilet facilities next to it. It is also stocked with inflatables, scuba gear, an outside cooking area, lots of places to relax (including a four poster, two person lounger) and a huge dining table to eat at. The vegetable garden gave us many lunches and things to eat, the mountain bikes were a great surprise and the view over to the islands is pretty. Miranda was in touch to answer our questions when needed and furthermore, having two cars to explore the island included in the rental was a godsend. Many thanks Miranda for a wonderful holiday. Solta is a truly beautiful island and well worth a visit.

Idyllic villa

Party of 6 with two children and we all had a lovey time. We all agreed that the villa is the best we had stayed in. It is immaculate and has absolutely everything you could need. The gardens are beautiful. Full of butterflies and bees, plus a vegetable patch that you can help yourself from. The pool was a great size and really well maintained. We cooked on the fire in the outdoor kitchen most nights, but there is a restaurant a stone’s throw away plus more in the nearest town about three km away. The village has a really well stocked little shop, plus a veg market, butchers and supermarket within 10 min drive. Miranda was a fantastic host, was really welcoming and everything ran very smoothly. A truly idyllic setting and villa. A perfect place to relax. Thank-you

As good as it gets!

Just returned from two weeks with six of us in the villa. It has been very tastefully renovated and to a high standard and was very comfortable. The pool and pool area was great to relax in and the views of the coast and mountains were a great backdrop. Whilst the villa is in a village locatiion it was very peaceful and the good local shop only a short walk away. The use of teh two cars was great and we were easily able to get to the two pretty harbour villages just a few minutes away. Miranda is most helpful and lovely to deal with in a very relaxed way. She kindly ararnged our transfers to/from the airport. The island is relatively quiet and only an hour ferry jouney from Split. Overall it was as good as it gets. Peter

Lovely 2 storey house in centre of the village. Good A/C and facilities. 4 good sized bedrooms all en suite. Gardens charming teaming with butterflies, frogs and lizards. Pool good size and invaluable in August. Very helpful owners. Use of 2 cars a lovely bonus to explore the beaches and evening harbour restaurants.

Beautiful house in Solta island

We are just back from 10 days holiday and what a fabulous time we had, the house and grounds are stunning, we spent lots of time in the pool and relaxing in the beautiful garden. We ate in a few times on the amazing grill which has an outside kitchen and Miranda said we could have some vegetables from her veg patch, all was delicious. We ate out a few times in the local restaurant which was 50 m from the house, the lady arranged for us to have a whole pig on the spit, what a treat. Stormorska was 3km from the house what a beautiful harbour and ate in Volets pizzeria a few times, we definitely recommed their. Maslinica was not far too which has a beautiful harbour too and a lovely beach bar and beach we went too a few times. We hired a boat in Stormorska too this is a must to see the beautiful island of solta and we went over to Brac too another beautiful island, our captain was so good I think we paid around 200 euro for 5 hours and we snorkelled in the amazing crystal blue sea. Finally I want to thanks Miranda the owner of the house what a wonderful lady she is, always messaged me back straight away on all my queries. Thanks again Miranda for a truly lovely holiday and wonderful hospitatallity.

Fantastic house with really friendly owners!

3 couples stayed in this beautifully restored house with its traditional brickwork on the outside and all mod cons on the inside. The restoration is to an outstanding specification. All bedrooms are ensuite, beautifully appointed. A perfect mixture of traditional and uber modern. The owners Miranda and her husband have thought of everything in and around the house to make for a great relaxing holiday and they were most obliging and helpful. The outdoor space with its elevated pool area with sea views, barbecue area and alfresco dining area make for a wonderful holiday experience.The small village is like a step back in time and the villagers are extremely friendly! As recommended by owners, we took a boat trip around the island with Ivo who himself is a villager and was extremely knowledgeable about the island. Highly recommended! Perfect getaway in Solta

We had a wonderful stay in this house and can only recommend to everyone. The highlights of this property are: the pool, huge grill, enough room for 10 people, the bicycles provided and many more. A big thanks to the hosts, Miranda and Mario who are very helpful, very friendly and try really hard for you to enjoy your holiday. The property is located at the edge of a small settlement, which makes it ideal if you prefer some privacy away from the busiest places. You can find the groceries, a restaurant and some other facilities there, but getting to the market (Grohote) or the beach (Stomorska, Necujam, Senjska) will require a few minutes drive. Must do(s): Visiting beautiful bays on the southern side of the island. Taking a walk in towns of Stomorska and Maslinica. Grilling local fish on your own. Exploring the island on bicycles. Having a drink in the beach bar Africa. Relaxing by the pool with your favorite music on... Overall, we loved the place and had no issues with the property. Ideal for both family and friends. The house can easily accommodate 10 people without stepping on each other toes. And the island is really nice with some beautiful places to find and lots to do.
