« The Grotto was such a delightful place to stay! It was very quiet and we woke up each day to the sound of birds chirping. Jason was a fantastic host -- he was very responsive and gave clear, concise instructions. The property was easy to find and well-located. I started most days with a run along the path 2 blocks away and finished with a dip in the pool. The Grotto was also the perfect place to vacation with our dog! »

« No parking at all. On street only. Small 24"x24" shower. Someone's old shampoo and conditioner were still in the room. Highly advised for married couples comfortable with being ON TOP of each other. Literally one step better than a hostel. Super thin walls. Fully remote check in. Probably would not book again. »

The location is just stunning, being able to see the ocean when you wake up is something truly special. The bed was so comfortable and the hot tub made our trip even more relaxing. This place will always be on our radar when we go back to San Diego! »
