« A short break, overall a good time had by all. However while the overall condition of the cottage was good it could have done with a real deep clean. Bedding was obviously used and the mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. Furniture inside also left a lot to be desired from a comfort point of view. No Wi-Fi. TV basic and small. Rooms small. But on the positive this is really well located to local amenities, fully enclosed large back garden was great for the dog....

Le film "Les Banshees of inisherin " m’avait donné envie d’y aller et je n’ai pas été déçue. De Ballina nous sommes allés à Down Patrick Head. « Good, quiet location close to beach & village. Good communication & instructions. »

« Before booking there are a couple of things folks need to be aware of. The driveway up to the place is terrible. Its a 0.5 mile sand track and is full off deep holes 3 mph max. Its not the cleanest place with spiders webs and mould (they charge 70 for cleaning) dont know why.On the plus side. Youre right on the beach and the cottage gives you a great sense of old world living. »

« Excellent host, great communication. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Has more than you need. Everything is high quality. Appliances are good brands and all in good condition. Location is close enough to towns so there is plenty of good shops and restaurants yet the cottage is in a quiet natural environment. We woke up to birds singing. »
