The farm is equidistant from Lancashire’s Clitheroe (9.5 miles) and North Yorkshire’s Skipton (11 miles) − the former sitting on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, and the latter known as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Skipton makes for a fabulous day out, with its medieval castle, picturesque woodlands, thriving market, eateries and independent shops. Take a ride on the waterways from the canal basin for a unique perspective of the town. Venture into the Dales to discover Malham (10 miles), a spectacular spot for walkers, cyclists and climbers − perfect for taking in the grandeur of Malham Cove and the beauty of Janet’s Foss on a sunny day. Equally scenic is Bolton Abbey (16.5 miles), home to romantic abbey ruins and a pretty river lined with scenic stepping stones.
