« This cozy cabin provides the ultimate Sitka view! It’s a perfect size for two couples. Even with dreary weather during our visit we were able to enjoy the tide pools in the backyard and sip coffee watching the boats cruise in front of Mt. Edgecumbe. The hosts were very accommodating and the cabin was clean and equipped for our arrival. Hope to stay at Raven’s Roost again! »

« The house was nice, but it was very cold and there wasn't enough blankets provided in the bedrooms to keep us warm. The heating source came from only the living room and the instructions for the heating of the home wasn't helpful and wasn't accessible as we thought. There was no way to turn up the heat in the bedrooms and didn't have any heating sources in the rooms. We also didn't have any trash bags provided for the house and there was also no tissue provided. We enjoyed sitting outdoors having coffee in a comfy living area. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There was plenty of room for six adults. « This was our first visit to Sitka so we weren't 100% sure it would be a good location for all we wanted to do and see. Rest assured, it could not have been a better central location for our trip! We were able to walk almost everywhere and the house was so clean and was exactly what we needed. This spot is beautifully finished and equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable for a week. I wouldn't want to stay anyplace else in Sitka! »

« My family gathered here for 5 days over Christmas. The weather was bad so we stayed inside a lot. The unit was very accommodating with several different gathering spots. The large dining table allowed for multiple puzzles and games to be played. There was also a large island in the kitchen, a reading area and a living room with a large, comfortable sectional. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I highly recommend The Driftwood and would stay here again. »

« We arived in the middle of the night and check in was easy. The neighborhood was quiet so we could sleep in the next morning. The apartment was comfy and well furnished. We could easily walk the 15 to 17 minutes it took to get to downtown Sitka.We enjoyed the historic park full of totem poles; and the BEAK restauramt was fanbulous! It was a nice prelude to the small ship cruise the next day. »

« Great view of the ocean. Very nice room with all the amenities you would need. Made dinner one night and had all the things needed to do so. The candles and electric fireplace added to the ambiance. Would definitely recommend staying here. I'm hoping to get a room again at this property. »

« The inside looks like it is brand new. Very very clean and comfortable. Linens were great. We felt like it was home. The shower was excellent, high pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was immaculate and had everything we needed. We had seals, eagles fishing and a whale right outside our window. I recommend it highly. 5+++ stars »
