FABULOUS STAY

We booked this apartment based on its excellent location located on the Blue Bay Resort. It exceeded all our expectations. The apartment is even better than the pictures show online. Stunning ocean views with the beautiful sunset straight from your balcony. The apartment is very spacious and has a very large outdoor seating area where we spend our time enjoying our meals. Everything you need is in the apartment, it is like moving into your own beach house not having to worry about bringing your own coolers etc. Kitchen is so well equipped with everything and anything you can imagine. They even had a lot of spices and oils available. Piet and Ellie are the most amazing hosts you can wish for. They go above and beyond to make this your best vacation ever!!!! We had some welcome beer and wine in the fridge. Blue Bay resort is fabulous, it is a 5 minute walk to the beach where there are plenty of chairs and great gazebos to hang out for the day. The property is clean and well looked after. There are several restaurants on the resort to try. My husband and university kids played golf on the beautiful course several times during our 12 day stay in Blue Bay. Don't hesitate to book this AWESOME place. We will be back Piet and Ellie.

Blue Bay Apartment

This apartment was fantastic! There was not one negative thing I could say about my stay in this apartment. Everything I needed, including a washer and dryer for clothes, was there in the apartment. The beach, restaurant, dive shop and the beach/swimming area was great. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit and would highly recommend this apartment. The owners were extremely nice and very responsive.

Awesome place to stay!

We stayed in this condo for 3 weeks and enjoyed it immensely. The condo owners were fantastic! Piet met us at the airport and even stopped at the grocery store to help us shop for our provisions! He was even thoughtful enough to provide us with recycling bags! Elly was"an attention to detail person " and it showed! We were grateful for all the supplies that she had in the condo for our use. There were spices, condiments, hand soaps etc. And and even a bottle of chilled white wine in the fridge.... How thoughtful is that? The balcony was large with terrific views of the ocean and golf course and there was always a lovely breeze. The air conditioning was only needed in the bedroom at night. It was a downhill walk to the beach and it usually only took us about 10 minutes to walk. The owners provided beach cards so that we didn't need to pay $8.pp to enter pet day. Thank you again Piet and Elly for renting your lovely condo to us! We highly recommend it to anyone that is planning a stay in beautiful Curaçao!

Perfect getaway

The location is perfect. The Ocean view is amazing. The property is minutes away from the beautiful Blue Bay Beach. It’s a short 10 minute drive to Willemstad, or a 30 minute drive to the Westpunt. It’s exactly as you see in the pictures. There is a nice breeze as you sit out on the balcony watching the sunset. The owners Piet and Elly are wonderful and welcoming from the moment you arrive. For the price, I can’t imagine there could be any better place to be on the island. Can’t wait to return.

Great stay on Blue Bay

We stayed at the property for 7 nights in the middle of July and from the beginning to the end Piet and Elly were always there for us. First, our flight was cancelled and they adjusted our stay to our new itinerary, they welcomed us at the security gate upon arrival, and responded quickly (within 30 minutes) if we had any issues. Their willingness to assist us was truly priceless! The apartment was spotless upon arrival and all of the essentials of your home are available (cooking, laundry, towels, pillows, etc ). Many of the appliances are new and the balcony is really spacious with comfortable furniture and an excellent view from the 4th floor. There is also an elevator available, which was welcomed after grocery shopping or a long day at the beach. The apartment has three air conditioning units that will cool the place quickly at night. The apartment is located in a really well kept area called Blue Bay and minutes from the beach area. The security officers are nice and really care about the security of the area. Two amazing owners, a clean modern apartment, and a great area called Blue Bay, why look any further? Thanks Piet and Elly for a great stay!

We were delighted by our first of many stays to come in Curacao!

This is a secure ,quiet,gated community with homes as well as condos. It is well located as far as the airport, shopping and the main town of Willemstad.On the grounds there is a great swimming and snorkelling beach with lounges and shade as well as two restaurants and dive shop and a condo pool. This fourth floor condo has easy parking and elevator access. Its a quiet corner unit , with a magnificent balcony for your sunset viewing pleasure. The unit has been completely renovated and comfortably furnished, with efficient WIFI service. The electricity is European voltage but Piet provided us with many voltage convertors so it wasnt an issue . There is a fully working kitchen with a convection/ microwave and it is well stocked with what u will need to “liveaway” easily . It is great to rent from Piet and Elly as they also live in the resort and take great pride in the condo and they want to ensure that all of the elements are present for your enjoyment of your vacation.

Amazing Property & Amazing Hosts

I don't even know where to begin. This property is AWESOME and is managed to perfection by the owners Piet & Elly. Piet & Elly are the epitome of genuine and caring. My traveling party of 4 arrived to Curacao via the neighboring island Aruba! Being aviation employees we decided to travel standby between Aruba and Curacao and had the minor hiccup of being bumped from our originally planned flight. I was able to communicate with Piet who was determined to make our arrival perfect despite arriving 5 hours later than intended. Piet met us at the airport with a SIGN with my name on it and instantly made us all feel welcome. First Class experience and it was like meeting family. The property is PERFECT. We have no complaints what so ever and will be BACK! I even had to respond to an important e-mail with signatures and yet again Piet and Elly came to the rescue allowing me to print the required documents quickly. Blue Bay Golf & Resort is Perfection. Amazing golf, scenery, tennis and weather. I felt like it was a true HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Remarkable property, and genuine caring owners. Modern Unit with Beautiful Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay on The Hill. The apartment is on the fourth floor has beautiful views of the ocean, golf course and mountains. The unit looks like new. The kitchen is very well stocked. Air conditioning, internet and TV worked great. Passes to the beach are provided. Blue Bay is centrally located on the island and is a beautiful, well maintained property. Highly recommended. We have stayed at several VRBO’s and this is one of the best!

Great apartment and resort

This two bedroom two bath apartment is modern, spotless, and equipped with a perfectly appointed kitchen. The owners are on site and ensured that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The view of the Caribbean from the terrace is more breath taking than the picture shown. While Blue Bay is a well run quiet resort, our reason for choosing Curacao was the world class snorkeling off the beach. We will definitely rent again.

Viel Komfort in angenehmer Umgebung

Die geräumige Ferienwohnung von Piet und Elly hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt nötig ist. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist modern und bequem, der Blick von der Terrasse einmalig schön. Vielen Dank auch für den freundlichen Empfang und die gute Betreuung.

Clean, modern and centrally located

We stayed at Piet and Ely's place 10/12-10/19/17, re-locating from St. Maarten. We were not disappointed. The condo is nicely modern and accommodated 4 adults, no problem. Nice kitchen with all necessary items needed to cook if that's your preference. Big LR opens to nice sized balcony with sea and pool view. Open windows and balcony doors to experience those trade winds sweeping through the condo. Piet and Ely were very hospitable and two very nice people. Rent a car and explore what the island has to offer. Just be sure to pick up a detailed map and download the gps app (Piet has all the details). Would definitely return to Curacao and Piet and Ely's place, but next time for a few extra days.

Beautiful Condo on "The Hill" at Blue Bay Resort

Owners are wonderful and very friendly, a lovely couple! Replied quickly to my emails. Perfect unit, pictures exactly as shown on HomeAway website. Very clean and so comfortable. Perfect for a family. Wonderful views of the ocean from balcony and very relaxing and safe resort. Nice restaurants with friendly staff. Grocery store is a close drive. The beach is beautiful! Love Curacao! Highly recommend renting this unit.

The apartment was beautiful but the best part was the service. When we had flight issues, Piet picked up part of our party at the airport and took her shopping. They responded to any questions we had in a timely manner. The facilities at Blue Bay are top of the line. We will be back!

Mooie appartement, geweldige locatie

Dit appartement is mooi en ruim en biedt een schitterend uitzicht over het Blue Bay Resort en de oceaan. Voorzien van alle gemakken, goede airco en uitstekende Wifi. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, bieden haal- en brengservice van en naar het vliegveld, verzorgen evt. eerste boodschappen en staan altijd klaar om te helpen of vragen te beantwoorden. Ook kunnen zij de autohuur regelen bij een lokale autoverhuurder (Prins Car Rental) tegen een gunstige prijs. Het strand is prima lopend te bereiken. Rustig strand in mooie baai, voorzien van ligbedden, leuke bar en 2 restaurants waar je heerlijk kunt eten. Echt een aanrader!
