“Facing the ocean and the sky!" This exceptional property enjoys a breathtaking Caribbean Sea view, an open outlook, from the sea at your feet extending through every shade of turquoise and true blue to the far horizon.
I fell immediately in love with this property. Bathing in the mirror pool, facing the ocean, was the icing on the cake. I was ready to go in a 5-minute walk to Maho where many gourmet restaurants offer great menus. I also found luxury boutiques, art galleries, bars and casinos, hairdressers, drugstores, and supermarkets, as well as a fabulous spa, an 18-hole golf course, and a choice of nearby beaches. Finally, I stopped at the well-known Sunset Grill & Bar to savor a cocktail”.
OCEAN EDGE is situated in the residential area of Beacon Hill, a quiet oasis of luxury and elegance on the shore of the Caribbean Sea.
As many press articles describe it the residence designed as an extension of the natural environment is built directly on the rock to become an integral part of the cliff.
The clean architectural line of this apartment combines timeless elegance and avant-garde style. Generously open to the outside, the east-west orientation ensures to appreciation of natural light with excellent exposure and unforgettable sunsets.
This modern apartment, designed, furnished, and decorated with artworks by international artists and designers offers a living area of 2150 sq Ft, 2 king-sized bedrooms with a bathroom “en-suite” and dressing. Each room has an area of 270 sq Ft all with a bathroom “en-suite”, a TV in the master bedroom, a large dining-living room with an open modern kitchen, and 2 private underground parking spaces are served by lift. The high ceilings of 10 Ft with built-in light and the flush-to-wall doors add an exquisite touch to the modernism of the concept.
The covered terrace accommodates a dining table and a living area of white and grey modern design.
The 1300 sq Ft terrace hosts a mirror pool built on the reef of the Caribbean Sea.
If you are lucky you will experience the passage of visiting whales and dolphins.

Part of a quiet building with a strict noise policy, listening to or playing music (at a reasonable/low volume) outside the condo is tolerated during the day but is not accepted at night.

The pictures don’t do this place justice—it’s breathtaking. The patio is the true star of the show, putting you right at the ‘Ocean’s Edge.’ John and Stacey were super accommodating throughout the booking process and my stay. The location is also really convenient, just minutes from the airport and a short 5-8 minute walk to popular spots in Maho (though I would recommend renting a car or hiring a personal driver if you plan to leave that area). The only downside was that we did come across some ants in the home, though I’m not sure if that’s a unit-specific issue or a building-wide thing. Overall, I’d stay here again!

If you are looking for a vacation of relaxation, this is your place! I just spent a week at Ocean’s Edge and will recommend to others. The condo itself is just as it was pictured- spacious, a beautiful view of the sunsets at night, comfortable sleeping arrangements and everything you need to enjoy your time. Very little noise from any other units on the property. You can’t beat the location with a quick walk into Maho or onto Simpson Bay. This was our 2nd trip staying on Beacon Hill road and we have always felt safe walking any time of day. We took advantage of the villa pre-stocking before our arrival, which meant we had a drink in hand to enjoy happy hour in the pool just 1 hour after landing. Only a 5 min taxi from the airport. The property manager Stacey was responsive before and during our stay for any needs we had. We also met the friendly owner John who lives above the condo & wanted to ensure we had everything we need & were enjoying our stay. Housekeeping did pop in during our stay to see if we needed anything refreshed as well.Mornings were spent reading before the sun hit the pool by noon. We packed our own pool floats & were glad we did as there was nothing on site. The condo did have 2 beach chairs for guest use but we ended up using the free beach chairs at Dinghy’s Beach Bar if you have more people. The only downfalls of this condo are the rules on music outside & no grill due to property rules. We did still listen to music by the pool but kept it quiet.

We had the most incredible experience at this property! The views were absolutely breathtaking—it felt like we were right in the ocean. The location was perfect as well—just a short 10min walk to great restaurants and the beach, making it incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to Stacey, the property manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable by having birthday balloons waiting for us when we arrived. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Sint Maarten!

Loved having private pool- would be nice if you can play music outside (considerately) and maybe a small grill would be a good addition. NOTE bedrooms get hot at night- bring a fan or plan to sleep with the door open. Had some issues with a/c but got resolved. We would rent again.

The property is amazing! We found ourselves really drawn to the outdoor space with a nice pool and fantastic view of the Caribbean. The interior is great as well; spacious and clean. The ONLY downside (if there was one) is that a lot of the light bulbs in the unit were burned out, something that can obviously be easily remedied. Beacon Hill is a nice little neighborhood and the location of the condo at the end of the street is very peaceful and relaxing. Do not hesitate to book Ocean Edge, you will not be disappointed!

I was concerned that the reality would not live up to the pictures...it was even better. Words can't describe the view and set up of this place. Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful week. The condo was very clean and well-equipped. Check-in was a breeze. The sound of the ocean and views out over the bay were a perfect way to start and end the day. From the moment we contacted our host John everything was great. Stacey greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around. If anything, the description understates how truly magnificent the condo is. When you walk in you'll be blown away. The place was clean and immaculate. The huge balcony has its own private infinity pool, 4 lounge chairs and a breakfast table exclusively - just for you. Just watching the sunset from the balcony alone is worth the price of admission. It's breathtaking watching the gentle waves crash on the barriers just beneath you. Saint Maarten is a beautiful friendly island with many fun activities, beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. We highly recommend staying here.

This condo is nothing short of fabulous. The location and views are amazing. My husband and I watched the beautiful sunsets from the pool every night of our trip. Very close to Maho and Mullet Beaches, and not far from Phillipsburg or the French side. Amazing stay. We will be back!

This property is nothing short of paradise. The ocean front view is unmatched. You fall asleep listening to the waves...and watch the sunset while relaxing in the pool. Simply amazing. The location is fantastic. Close to restaurants, beaches and shopping. And very close to the airport. So convenient. Our host Stacey was always available for any questions or suggestions. If you’re looking for relaxation, then I highly recommend booking this condo. From check-in, John and Stacy were very helpful for any needs that arose. The condo is exactly as depicted . We loved watching the sunset from the deck as well, having our own private pole. I the only small objection was not having enough hot water for showers and that the water was turned off on the oversize tub in the master bath. Please don’t let that stop you from renting this condo because the pros far outweigh not having enough hot water, which is easily overcome with spacing everyone shower I would write this in 9+.

The patio and water view at this property is beautiful ! The wifi was very good. The property was clean. There is VERY little hot water for showering. This is not what we expected for a "Luxury" property....and there was only 2 of us staying/showering. Apparently the bath tub is just for show as the water was shut off to it. There would never be enough hot water to use it anyway. The washing machine was broken for the entire length of our 10 day stay which was very disappointing since we did not pack extra clothes as we expected to be able to wash some clothes during our stay. We would not have booked this property if we had known there was not a working washing machine. We reported it immediately, but it was never fixed before the end of our stay. We were however able to get some fresh towels brought to us. The air conditioning worked great during the day. But, the bedroom air conditioning seemed to shut off for a period every night and we therefore did not sleep well.

Excellent location and property. Some very minor things that have been commented on by others but would rate this nothing less than a five. The Concierge Service was easy and effective. Their restaurant at and transportation recommendations were reliable as well.
