The hotel canceled my reservation without notice. They said my card declined but how can that be when I paid in full when I booked the room three weeks ago. The employee Patrick was no help at all and was very smug. I will admit my husband was for upset after a flight and having to drive an hour and 30 minutes from the Tuscan airport to find out the canceled my room. Patrick stated he couldn't do anything since I booked through a third party. I have used Expedia for years and have never had a problem with any booking. This hotel did not want my business and it was very clear that Patrick did not want to help. Thank goodness when I called Expedia and told them about the incident that happened they were able to get me a room at another hotel and 11pm at night. So I don't think it was a problem with third party booking. Someone messed up my reservation at this hotel and didn't want to take accountability for their mistake.
